I went into Woof Gang because the store/grooming had been recommended to me by many people. I was looking for a tiny dog harness for my 5lb puppy. Which is somewhat difficult to find in Wilmington. However, I was greatly disheartened by the treatment I received. Upon entering this establishment, I was not greeted or acknowledged in any way. The two male workers were up at the front entrance of the store talking. Even as I continued to shop the products, there was still no acknowledgment. I even had found an harness I planned on purchasing. About ten minutes later another woman came in and was immediately greeted. She was asked, if she needed any help or was there to pickup a dog from grooming by any chance. These men seemed perfectly happy to engage and interact with this woman. After, I immediately put my selected items down and left. The whole interaction just left a bitter taste in my mouth. Greeting and acknowledging is the easiest part of a retail job (I have worked retail for several years myself) and Business 101. Completely ignoring customers is not okay and frankly unkind. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. If you want a fantastic groomer, VonBarkees and Dapper Dogs are friendly and welcoming! Best Day Ever Dog Boutique and Unleashed are great as well!

This has been the best place for my Cavapoo. She loves her groomer, Andy. Her stay here is usually about 90 minutes. They do a great job every time. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. The store is very clean.

I give the owner and his wonderful customer service 5-stars. He's so kind and easy to chat with while you're shopping the store. We love their retail and dog treats. GROOMING THOUGH, we had a really awful grooming experience and my dog came out looking like I've never seen him before, shaved down to his bare skin when our breed shouldn't even be shaved to begin with. (We asked for a trim of the hair only). I don't think this groomer knows what they're doing. My dog literally came out traumatized.

Do not take your dog here. I really wish I would have trusted the reviews of others below. I was running late, someone called to confirm I was still coming, I apologized and said I am less than 5 minutes away, she said no problem see you when you get here. Our pup was matted as she had spent 3 weeks at the boarder while we were on vacation, however she was given a bath, nail trim, ears and anal glands cleaned two days ago when we picked her up. I explained that to him, all he could say was that she is matted which again I understood and since it is the middle of summer resolved myself to the fact that it would be best if she was trimmed very short. Came to pick her up, he did nothing but shave completely to her skin, eyes not cleaned, her chin not trimmed--which is the only thing I specified wanting to have done. This groomer didn't groom any part of our pup. He was a barber that gave a buzz cut. I will NEVER take her back there. Not to mention they are extremely overpriced at $75 for a 5 pound dog and charged me a $15 late fee. Not once did they tell me that we would be charged because of running late. When I questioned the charge and he told me the owner chimed in to say that I was told. He blatantly lied because the girl that called never mentioned that to me nor did the groomer when I dropped her off. Completely unprofessional, terrible skills in grooming. Do not waste your time, money or put your pet in their environment. One star for this business is too kind.

Grooming of my long haired dog was done with a shaver which I never asked for. He was to be trimmed and shaped up with scissors. They took all of his fringe from his front legs. The shave job looks so choppy and uneven as if someone who has no idea how to groom did the work. I will never go back.
