Shasta is AMAZING!!! I have never loved my hair so much! I have always had basic brown hair, but she listened to exactly what I was wanting and made it even better than I could’ve dreamed of. 100/10 would recommend booking with her!

I have looked and looked for a salon since moving to Wilmington. I have finally found my stylist! Kelly has been wonderful the past three times I have seen her. She listens to what I want and nails it each time. I look forward to my next appointment.

I would strongly suggest you look at any other salon for your wedding party hair services. Kelly from Wisp was recommended by our wedding coordinator. We made the poor decision to use Kelly for my daughter’s wedding. My daughter had a trial hair appointment several weeks prior to the wedding, she knew what style she was looking for, and brought pictures as well as described it to Kelly. The style she was given wasn’t really what she asked for and Kelly half heartedly made some corrections, she also used closed Bobby pins even though my daughter has very thick hair and told Kelly they would not hold her hair, Kelly promised to have the correct pins on wedding day, she did not have the correct pins on wedding day. Within an hour of leaving the salon, her hair had fallen, my daughter counted 74 pins when she removed them. Using the correct pin for the hair does not require masses of Bobby pins hoping it will hold. Kelly was distracted and disinterested on trial day, she mentioned a personal issue, so we gave the benefit of doubt after calling her to let her know this wasn’t satisfactory. Our mistake was to go ahead with her services, we should have found a different stylist, it’s a decision we will regret every single time we look at the wedding pictures.
There were 5 of us who had our hair done that day, and all 5 regretted spending the money with the horrible service Kelly provided.
I had a very clear picture of what I was looking for what I received was a flat rats nest that before we reached the church had completely fallen and looked like I had just rolled out bed. My daughters jeweled comb was hanging out of hair while standing at the alter, while dancing Bobby pins were falling out of her hair landing all over the dance floor, midway through the reception, she gave up and just took her hair down. For the record, she counted 57 Bobby pins that she finally removed that’s not counting what had already fallen out! With what had fallen who knows how many she started with, again had Kelly used the correct pins, chances are the hair would have held better. All events have snafu’s, generally speaking they are small and easily forgotten, while the wedding was beautiful, the horrific hair will not be forgotten because it is present in every single picture and brings with it sadness, anger and regret. For the record I sent Kelly an email post wedding expressing our disappointments with her services much like I’ve posted here, she did not have the courtesy of responding, hence my Google review in an attempt to warn future bridal parties that they may wish to look elsewhere. Kelly dialed in her services on my daughters wedding day, perhaps that her usual mode of business, which would give me pause on using use her or her salon for services of any kind. Run don’t walk from Kelly’s wedding services.

I've got to say I've had one of my best haircuts here and my very worst. Shannon did an amazing job and I highly highly recommend you get your hair done by her. I don't want to name the person who gave me the worst haircut of my entire life because I don't think it's entirely necessary. And honestly I kind of feel bad for her because I could tell she knew that she messed up. She had to get someone to help her with them. I asked for shorter curtain bangs and showed them the picture of what I wanted which I will add, the second picture is what I left the salon with. You'll be able to tell it's me because you can see the tears in my eyes. I have been home bawling my eyes out for about 4 hours because the bangs I got are so short that there is absolutely nothing I can do about it but wait until they grow out. Safe to say I'm embarrassed to go out in public, and I'm even embarrassed to walk around my own house looking like this. When I look in the mirror I just want to cry. I'll be wearing headbands and beanies until they've finally grown out enough for me to have something that I don't absolutely despise.

It was WONDERFUL, and... I am very particular about my hair. I had such a great experience, the salon is beautiful and well kept, and the stylists were considerate and very friendly. Loved everything about it as much as I love their neighbors at Tropez! Tropez could not get me in for a much need keratin treatment, but I'm honestly thankful it led me to Wisp. Now, I have two wonderful options just a hundred feet apart!
