I cant wait to close my account with WellsFargo in Porters Neck. I dont know who runs this office but it is always so slow and never enough employees. My most recent encounter was yesterday and again today, when i attempted to deposit a check from my deceased mother in law. I was told that i needed a letter stating my wife was entitled to the funds and her named beneficiary. We had the letter from our estate attorney, and went back today. We were then told we needed open a whole new account to deposit the funds in there, then transfer it to our personal account. These people running this place must get bonuses for New accounts opened or something, now they will just have a closed account. Heading to Truist. Goodbye wellsfargo.

I was not impressed with the customer service at all today. I went in and told the the bank teller that I needed something notarized. He said the notary is out and he could check the other person to see what hours would be available. He went around the corner and came back and said I can't find it. He didn't care at all and want any help.

5 employees working at the branch, no one at the drive through window, 5 people in line inside the branch; only one teller serving customers. The manager standing awkwardly at the front door not doing anything. Waited 10-15 minutes and had to leave. Lame.

Been waiting an hour to get in our safety deposit box. Whats the point in having a safety deposit box if there is no access when needed? Clearly need to hire more people.

Walked into the branch at 0905 with my mother-in-law who just moved here from another state to open an account for her. We were the only customers in the building. I told a teller what we needed and she said she would get someone to help us. She asked a lady sitting at a desk and I heard her say she couldn’t help us because she had an 0930 appointment. She said she would help us find an appointment for later this week. Nope. You’re sitting there with no customer and you refuse to help us? I guess this bank doesn’t need business. PS. We went to First Citizen’s in Hampstead and were helped immediately and we were finished in 30 minutes.

Edit 8/14: ATM broken again. Not accepting deposits, no cash withdrawals..Nearly every weekend there's something wrong with the ATM. Fix this already!! We pass many other banks driving to a working Wells Fargo ATM. It's getting old.

The atm has been broken for 3 and a half days I NEED TO MAKE A DEPOSIT TO SCHEDULE AN EXAM!!! It says can’t make deposits and has for DAYSSS! Someone needs to come out and fix this because normally it’s fast and quick but now it’s not accepting deposits so I can’t make one for a very important exam!!! ?

Been sitting in line for over 15 minutes without any movement...trapped by other cars!!! I think all the tellers are on lunch...once again big establishment not run very smoothly!! No apologies or anything!
