“My Honda was recently hit and totaled out on a highway in Georgia. When your vehicle is totaled out they insurance gives you 3 days of rental. So I expeditiously started searching for another truck. I was not able to locally find a 2018-2022 Honda Pilot that did not have an accident, lemon on the title. I found a match at BlueWater MotorSports and connected with Julian via email. He immediately responded to all my inquiries, sent pics and videos. He sent CARFAX and helped me with all the information that I sent my mechanic who approved. I arranged a short flight to the dealership on Saturday morning and I inspected the vehicle and completed the paperwork all within an hour. It was an easy end to end process. “I bought a ford mustang from this place and noticed it was squealing from the front brake. I took it in to them and they told me it was more than likely my break pads… I went and directly bought new brake pads from a ford dealer to try and save a little money. Once i had secured the new break pads i brought it to their service team to have them put on. I dropped my car and the new pads off at the dealership and headed home. I received a phone call from the service team and they told me sorry its not your pads, its your rotors, even told me that my old break pads were in good condition and theyd leave em on and give me back the new ones i had bought. They ended the phone call by saying “if we CAN resurface your rotors then you wont hear back from us and will let you know when the car is ready to be picked up. If we CANT resurface your rotors then we will give you a call back and will have to buy new ones.” I say okay to all of this as it makes sense to me and never heard back from them until my car was “ready” to be picked up. I pick my car up and not even 10 feet down the road its making the same noise as before. So i give them a call back all for the guy at the service desk to tell me, “oh no we didnt do anything to your rotors, you said you wanted your breaks changed. So long story short to save time here my fingers are tired of typing. The guy at the desk tells me that he never said anything about my rotors, and that they put my new brake pads on even tho my old ones were perfectly fine, per the guys at the dealership… they ended up calling me an outright liar while at the same time offering me free service to get the problem right, which shows that they know they royally messed up.. so all this to say, they stole a brand new pair of break pads from me and thought they could lie and gaslight their way through it… never in my life have i had this bad of an experience with a car dealership and my car will never drive back into the parking lot of Matthew's motors. I highly caution all of you to not bring your vehicle to matthews for service. They are looking to rip you off and take your money, so unless its under warranty id stay very very far away from matthews motors service department.”
