WOW! Moves make me anxious...but not this time! Steve, Braden, Tino and Max were polite, professional and handled everything as if they were handling their own possessions. I highly recommend Tropical Moves - it's first rate service with great personality!

I work at Carolina Bay retirement community so I have seen all types of local moving companies on a weekly basis. Tropical moves is by far the best I’ve ever worked with! They set the bar high for all the other moving companies. The owner answers the phone and is easy to communicate with. His team is always respectful to our residents, our policies, and the resident’s belongings. The executive director even used Tropical for his own personal move after seeing what a great job they do.

Tropical Moves Moving and Storage was great. From the beginning of our move to the end, they were responsive, punctual, and very accommodating to our schedule and needs.
The movers were professional, courteous, and paid close attention to the care of our items.

We’ve moved multiple times, and Tropical Movers far outweighs them all! The crew was incredible! They were friendly, timely, and careful with all of our belongings. They went above and beyond to make sure our new home was set-up correctly by placing furniture and boxes in their correct areas, and our old place was left in great condition too. Highly recommend this company.

Tropical Moves provides excellent service for a flawless move. Carson was great at planning and communicating the move and Steve and the rest of the team pulled it off for us on a hot day. Everyone was great. 100% recommend for your next move.

Can’t say enough great things about this operation. Professional, punctual, and worth every penny! My stuff was stored in their container on my property for 3 months, just got unpacked today and it smelled as fresh today as the day it was packed! They just moved me 3 times now and every single time I have been extremely satisfied with their hard work!

Tl; dr: Hire them! ??? If you need the details, Wilmington has so many moving companies and so many of them have glowing reviews! It was hard for me to decide. I had a unique moving situation. I was laid off and needed to store my items in a storage container for an indeterminant amount of time. I contacted a few local moving companies about moving estimates. Carson, the owner, was so easy and responsive to both my calls and text messages. Also, his rates were super affordable and he was able to give me a storage unit that was far cheaper than Pack Rat, PODS, or other competitors. The estimate he quoted me in person to pack my apartment and the storage unit was incredibly reasonable. I also had weird dates and time frames to work with. Tropical Moves was easy to accomodate them. The movers packed and handled all of my things with care and grace. They even let me elderly father tell the long-winded stories. They packed my 2 bed 2 bath plus garage in record time. This is an extremely reliable company. I could tell that the owner cared about my personal situation and really wished me the best. It was a sigh of relief to have my things packed because I'm not sure where I will end up but Tropical Moves is equipped to move it to anywehre within the continental US.
