My wife and I just closed on a second home in Surf City with the help of Cora Allen. We met Cora by chance as she had the very first house listed that we looked at in Topsail/Surf City. It was a very fortunate day for us. Cora was so professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with that we both agreed that Cora would be our 'second home' guide. Her help made the search for our home enjoyable. Cora took the time to understand what we were looking for, made sure that we were in tune with new properties and the activity in the market. Every visit was well planned and she was well versed in the details and market history of the properties we viewed.Being a great agent is more than showing property though. That's where Cora shines, she lives in the details and is so organized that there's never any doubt about any facet of the transaction. She is a spectacular agent. When we found the right property Cora was a wonderful advisor throughout the offer and negotiation process. She made sure that our offer was presented in the best light and then worked with us to arrive at terms and conditions that we felt were fair. Since we are from out of the market Cora made it a point to be at every inspection, every additional task prior to closing and made sure that everything was in order. I remarked to her one day that my wife is one of the most organized people I know and that Cora was impressing her! Wow, did I get lucky!When looking for an investment property in North Carolina, I was referred to local Wilmington realtor, Donna Kunath. This being the first time I've worked with a realtor I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was an enthusiastic, responsive, realtor with extensive knowledge of the Wilmington neighborhoods and a gracious demeanor. She helped me narrow down my search of neighborhoods and started sending me listings in line with my desired criteria.I'm from out of state and planned a trip to Wilmington to get familiar with the area, but before I could get there a house came on the market that I loved. The house was a 100-year-old charmer, in a historic emerging neighborhood.Donna did a live video showing for me and I decided to make an offer, sight unseen. My offer was accepted, and we began the purchase process which included an inspection. There were a few concerns when we got the inspection report and Donna got to work addressing those by helping me engage a local structural engineer to provide a report. The structural report came back in record time with favorable results. I flew in on the day my due diligence was up and absolutely loved the property.From then on, Donna worked diligently with my lender and closing team to make the process seamless. She also gave me referrals to 3 local insurance companies to help me with quotes for homeowners insurance. Cora Allen was everything you hope your Real Estate Agent to be. Efficient, organized and up beat. Not only was she on top of the newest listings, but she typically had a showing booked for us within a day of a house being posted. She was available to show us any house we wanted no matter the time and worked around our hectic, ever-changing schedules. She was a major contributor to us finding a home we loved and I truly believe we would still be in the market for a house if not for her.

We met Cora nearly 3 yrs ago in Tysons Corner at a home show. Of the many many agents there she stood out then and we continued to stay in touch over the last 3 yrs. We reached out to Cora the day after our house sold in early June and we hit the ground running. She easily got to know us and our preferences and knew exactly what we were looking for.
