If i could give a lower score i would. Since opening an account in less than a month i have had 2 fraud incidents and also had money missing that I am having to do all the leg work to find out what happened. I go to the branch they refer me to customer support. Customer support send me to the branch and nothing is getting done.

I have banked here for several years and always had a great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue I’ve ever had is the ATM is down sometimes but overall it is a great bank to be a part of. I appreciate your services.

The rudest customer service experience ever. I opened an account, came in to deposit money, and they had me waiting so long for a card. I literally listened to them crack jokes with each other while I waited. I’m literally still here as I type this. I observed how they treated the lighter shade folk but ME, I AM GETTING NO RESPECT. It’s taking everything out of me not to withdraw my money and cancel this account. UPDATE: SAMEUL IS THE EXCEPTION! But the MANAGER AMBER IS HORRIBLE I was shocked to find she was the manager.

The person in charge of that branch shouldn’t be in customer service. She could care less about the customer. If you have to go there ask for Dean, Tracy or a banker. TD is not a good bank to deal with to begin with, so add an employee with power and a chip on her shoulder and you will understand why they have a 2 stars rating.

1 star is generous. Dean was extremely unprofessional and rude. He suggested I take my concerns to management in the most condescending manner when I asked what my options were. Opening an account with TD and especially the employees at this location is the WORST financial decision I have ever made. They are useless and truly do not care about the customer. My entire experience has been a complete nightmare, waste of hours on the phone getting the run around, and headache. I am proud to say I found another local bank and I will never ever consider TD again for any of my banking needs.

The irs froze my account a week before Xmas over 140 bucks, go figure. It was a real pain to get released. Special shout out to Ms Amber for taking time to call them and take extra steps to resolve the issue with out me even asking. Iv been banking with TD for 2 years, and it's been great. The staff is personable, and I look forward to coming in, not only to bank but to see my bankers!!!!

The absolute worse customer service ever. One employee in particular, Amber, is the rudest person I've ever met and her attitude is that she's botherd by the customers. I've been in the bank on several occasions and she has always been this way. I went to the bank due to several fraud attempts on my account. They were too busy to help me and sent me to another branch in a different county. They were better but the fraud continues and I will be canceling my accounts and taking my money from the bank.

I’ll start by saying I hate giving 1-star reviews because I know the impact of a negative review. However, banks can really do whatever and still garnish business because of the demand. The bank tried to tell me that the amount I gave them was incorrect by $30. I ended up spending 45 minutes to make a deposit. Ultimately, their “drawer was off” and they ended up admitting their mistake. The drive through wasn’t taking cash. Typically I try to avoid the rude clerks at all costs.

This Bank is a joke! I came to this location to open a business bank account and was greeted with very poor customer service from two different tellers. I feel like I was being racially profiled because I’m a black business owner. Granite my business is out of PA, I temporarily live in NC and could have moved to the area for all they knew. I was not even asked much information, just turned around being denied a bank account. I have never in my life experienced anything like this and I would NOT bank with this establishment. Its no wonder these people have 1 star reviews. The manager Amber was no help either and I was told by Amber they don’t have a corporate number. All banks have Corporate contacts how else would we be able to complain when being treated unfair? I will get to the bottom of this, this will NOT be the last time they hear from me. The most convenient bank, they are a joke. From the looks of it they need clients so I’m confused why I was denied a bank account and I was depositing 20k today. Their loss…

Like a different customer here said, we signed up for a promotional offer by opening a checkings, savings, and credit card through TD a while ago. Now it's time for me to close the accounts; they will not allow me to close the accounts online, even though that's where I signed up for them. They won't allow me to close them over the phone. Lastly, I'm having trouble closing them in person. They're saying they can't prove who I am. I even brought my passport in because I had read the other negative reviews, but that isn't good enough for them. Finally, they sent a confirmation number to my phone, and that was good enough I guess? They asked for a vehicle registration and insurance card with my name and address. The main point here is that it was incredibly easy to open the account online but is incredibly difficult to CLOSE the account. I live 2 hours away. Why would they send promotional pieces of mail to areas in which they have no banks? That smells like a scam to me. Beware.

My husband and I went to TD Bank in Wilmington NC on South college rd to open up a business account and we met with Amber McMullen assistant vp, and store manager she has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! She treated us as if we were criminals she had a terrible and nasty attitude she looked our business license up with the state of NC and she was given the tax ID and DL's and our car insurance paperwork (why you need car registration or insurance information is a bit much, but ok) but still said it wasn't enough she referenced and insinuated that people(us??) still fraudulently set up accounts SO WE TOOK OUR BLACK OWNED BUSINESS TO WELLS FARGO and had absolutely no problems. TD Bank you need to do better and Amber smh!! Shame on you.

TD lied to customers about foreign exchange rates. I transferred 63783.43 Canadian dollars to my daughter in February 23, she asked TD branch near her. TD manager said that change rate is currently market exchange rate, but it was TD's market rate, which is way worse than market rate. TD took over thousand dollars advantage from us.

Well until just a month ago I would have thought TD was a pretty decent big bank. I am writing this review because of what recently happen to my wife and I. To put things simple don’t trust what they say on the phone what so ever and never do any type of exchange transfer with this bank if it can be helped. Thanks to a manger named Steven my wife and I lost over $1300. When confronted with the situation we were simply told he could do nothing. This happen because I called and asked what the exchange rate was, he said market exchange rate not being clear that it was the “TD market” rate. The difference was 3 cents on every dollar it’s a big difference when exchanging larger amounts of money. Overall this killed all since of trust with this bank. We closed our accounts because of it. This is thanks to the Wilmington, NC TD on Collage Road.

My husband and I opened a cross border account from Canada, since we have a TD account already there. Once we came stateside and took in the necessary papers needed to link all accounts, our account here was locked. We found out the problem and took in the necessary papers requested and a week later still locked out of our account. Have called several times and was told we would receive a call back and 24 hours later nothing. When we go in there is hardly anyone there and only 1 teller or person that can do anything aside from that of a teller. This is not how one conducts good business and yet we cant access funds that we need.
