Let me preface this by saying that my boyfriend and I have booked at this hotel just about every single weekend for the past couple of months. never had a problem there it’s your typical cheap hotel. We stayed there last weekend and around 3 am someone knocked on our hotel room door and when i opened there was no one in the hallway but the person who was staying right next us, their door shut as soon as i opened mine so they “ding dong ditched” us at 3 am, they were also being very loud throughout the night. a couple minutes later one of the hotel staff is out knocking on OUR door saying that there was a noise complaint on us so i explained to him that it was our neighbors. i thought everything was fine after that. come this weekend we reserve a room because we’re booking again (like we do every weekend) we get to the hotel to check in yesterday and we’re told that we’re on a do not rent list when we asked why he said there weren’t any notes on why it said that. then he asked us which staff member it was that knocked our door and when we told him he didn’t seem to be surprised by that at all like he had done something like before. it’s absolutely ridiculous that we book here almost every single weekend have never had a problem and then for no reason we are on a do not rent list? if your goal is to make money you’re doing a terrible job.

Awesome staff and facilities were very clean. Very comfortable place to relax and within walking distance to shopping and eating.

Rooms were clean. I paid $125 for 1 night without having made a reservation but it was a Friday. So I'm very happy with my stay.

Very strong mildew smell in the room. Overwhelming smelling chemical cleaners in the lobby. Customer service was good. Nothing to write home to mom about. I left with such a bad headache from the various smells throughout.

This is my second time staying in this hotel when I town, and now both times the night clerk has issues with noise in the hallway. This time I called the desk and complained, took care of the issues for a time. Kids gone wild running in the hallway banging on the doors and noisy‼️It appears there is a Camara system in the hotel but they don't watch or done care. Parents who don't supervise their children should stay at home‼️?Noteworthy details: Other choices in the area‼️

Typical motel in the "motel area" of Wilmington, NC. Not too far from the beach. The room was decent, clean, and quiet. I was not a fan of the bed. It was very hard, and I could feel the springs. The pillows were probably the worst I've ever had. They were very lumpy and had no support. Hey, the price was good and we just needed a place for the night.

Said room would be 249 after tax received the bill for 281. If I could leave zero I would. First 5 minutes being here my son picked up a bag of drugs in the parking lot. Get to the room fire alarm is hanging off the wall. Tv does not work. Room smells like a carton of cigarettes. Bodily fluid or something all over sink and bathroom looks like blood. Security door on side halfway opens. Requested refund so we could leave and they refused. This place needs to be shut down. Terrible service! Disgusting rooms! Might as well rent by hour.

Front desk staff let me check in early being gold member. The new young girl who checked me in was polite, somewhat resourceful on the area but didnt inform me of (lack of) options on rewards with check in what she did about it, I had to ask after the fact.I'd say Robbie was especially helpful with service and towels on this busy Saturday really deserves a shout out ? was running around helping while the new young girl had "15 things to do and am sorry sir" calmly, indifferently walking to the front desk ?The room was dark, no lamp. Had to ask for a replacement bulb for a light out above the bed. The shower and hot water does run good. Electric outlets are either far from the bed or hard to reach, way under desks not good for people with back or mobility issues. Breakfast juices are flat watery. Breakfast wasn't ready one morning at 6am either, the guy still bringing out items. Their toaster doesn't work either.The owner or whoever manages this property runs it like a Motel 6, screwing the staff that can't do much to resolve issues and guests that expect basic common sense items like lamps in the rooms, outlets within reach and stocked fresh breakfast. Being cheap still comes with a price like word of mouth.

It was disgusting. We came here for the 4th of July with 2 adults and 3 kids. When we arrived we found black mold on the drapes, and we also found black mold behind the beds. Black mold is incredibly dangerous, and this is incredibly disgusting, especially for what we payed. The customer service was nice, but that really doesn't matter if you can't sleep in the rooms.

They charged me twice for my room and said that the person who was working that day was new and two charges appeared on my credit card statement. I am still waiting for my refund. Will not book here again if these kind of mistakes happen.

We booked online for a trip in July. it was super clean. All the front desk ppl were very polite. We were on the 3rd floor. Room 300. right in front of elevator. Super quiet there. Beds were way comfortable. Outdoor pool area was pretty quiet. Think most ppl were on beach for the 4th of July. Huge bathroom w shower. The sink and mirror were outside the bathroom. Odd but whatever. Close to shopping. N breakfast every morning. Would go back.

A last minute decision to stop in Wilmington found a need for a room… this hotel was available through Choice Rewards, so we booked. During the day it seemed ok, but when we got back to the hotel in the dark it had us second guessing our choice. The hotel has clearly done some work to improve rooms by painting and adding in new furniture. The water was hot and pressure was perfect for a much needed shower at the end of an afternoon at the beach. This is by no means a “five star” hotel but they’re doing the best they can given location and existing structure. We found it odd that there were not lamps in the room, just a light over the sink (which is separate from the shower/toilet area) and the overhead lighting (there are can lights over the beds, which was a nice touch if they were controlled on a different switch.). There is also a pool that looked to be clean and a nice outdoor patio area, we didn’t utilize those though.The thumping music from both rooms around us after 10pm caused us to call and request that be addressed. It immediately got quieter, so we did appreciate that.I would stay here again, for the price it was definitely a Quality experience.Safety: We were unsure about the area when we arrived in the dark. The parking lot was well lit, but hard to find in the rainy night. We utilized the parking space for Choice Platinum members which had cameras above, so that gave some peace of mind. The doors locked well and the building seemed secure.

I went to eat breakfast and there were no more bagels and there were nobody to supply more bagels. The toaster wasn’t working at all. I think they need to hire somebody for the breakfast for better service.

Not sure why this hotel has bad reviews. It was clean, didn't smell, reasonably priced and staff were very nice and friendly. We only stayed one night but overall this is a good hotel with a great price.Food & drinks: Great brew style bar next door

We had an amazing vacation, our family was able to stay in a clean affordable room 15 minutes from everything. We were very happy with the friendly staff and the owner was very nice. I will absolutely be staying here again on our next vacation!Nearby activities: Beach is 10 minutes away, and a ton of places to eat within 5 miles of hotel
