I genuinely don’t have enough words to express my gratitude. Recently I changed Vets due to my previous Vet constantly running tests and giving me the same run around on “we don’t know what’s wrong”. Before Dr.Resnick even came in the room to meet my dog he already had an idea of what was going on and instantly treated us like family. Never in my life have we had such an amazing doctor and team that loves and cares for my baby. We have been treating him and within the last couple of months I have seen major improvement (He saved his life). Dr.Resnick will personally call you and email you in Full detail of what’s going on and has worked with me to make sure I understand everything clearly. The team genuinely loves my Theo and we love them. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you guys so much! I am forever grateful

This place is just awesome, one of the last of its kind. I always loved this place, but have loved it even more in the past year. I have learned that it's easy to be a vet when everything is going perfectly with your pet, but the real measure of how good a doctor is when things are more difficult to manage.
Our dog is now a senior dog with her own set of health issues. Dr Matt does the most excellent job of explaining everything to me so I can understand it, gives me options, and calls me to discuss our dog's bloodwork and next steps. I never feel pressured to do anything but always well informed about how I could approach and handle a situation to keep her quality of life relatively intact (she is almost 14.) He never rushes me and always answers my questions. I am so very thankful every time I come.
The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I have never had one bad interaction there, they are all so kind but also professional.
We also had our dog's dental surgery here within the past year. She did a wonderful job and I could tell the difference in our dog's quality of life in a few days after the surgery! The surgery was also not astronomically expensive as I have heard about at other practices.
I can not say enough about how much I love this place, only that I am sorry it took me so long to post a review about how wonderful you all are.

The vets and staff at Porters Neck Vet go above and beyond each day, and truly care about the work they do. They took excellent care of my dog as she went from an adolescent to a senior, and then a super-senior dog, and beyond. Highly recommend, and they charge very reasonable prices.

I couldn’t say enough good things about PNVH. Dr. Sarah has been wonderful to us and our dog Zoey. Through a bad infection to a toe amputation, to a leukemia diagnosis she has been so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. We hope to continue care with them for our current pets and any future ones.

I'm so thankful for this wonderful place that showed compassion on a Saturday to help make one of the toughest decisions with my furry best friend. They were so kind and good to him and helped end a 12 year journey in peace. I am so grateful. I would recommend this staff to Anyone! R.I.P. Benji.

Just had a visit with our two cats today, and the vet and the assistant were really great. I really wish I could remember their names. The assistant was really sweet and knowledgeable, and the vet did not seem to be in any hurry talking to us. Seems the ownership may have changed the past few years, but these guys are really great and I trust them. Cosmo and Taco thank you.

Did not give a diagnosis, gave him steroids and antibiotics without knowing what they were treating. Wanted to do an abdominal X-ray for an injured foot. Give him IV fluids which helped perk him up. $550 later they didn't know what to say. Be very careful with the billing!
