Let me tell you!!!! These people were outstanding. They solved every issue we had! Dawn Shivers at the Warehouse was the best. Big smile - figured everything out! Just can not say enough great things. Worth every single penny!!! From the pick up to the visits to our unit in storage. I hope you get to meet Dawn…. Just a great person to know!!! She is in Rocky Point NC!! If I could hire her I would!!!!

Great way to move yourself if your not moving a big home full of furniture. We downsized considerably and cost, automation, and convenience made PODS a good choice for us. Their automation for communication and online access was excellent and the drivers were all very professional and courteous.

Our experience with PODS was great. If you don't mind doing the loading yourself, it's a convenient way to move.

Exceptional customer service. Everything was on time. Good communication prior to any event. Very good explanation of the correct way to pack and load the POD (not like a truck). Be sure to follow those instructions. I only had a couple of minor items damaged - which I attribute to how I boxed them. Weight distribution is very important. I never plan to move again, but I highly recommend PODS for your move. My move was 900+ miles.

Its not cheap what so ever, the most expensive. From Utah to North Carolina just delivery was $4200 drop off in Utah $360 didn't quite get to drop off in North Carolina cause I told them Im good and Ill pass. Pretty sure the overall bill would be close to $6000 where U-Haul quoted me $2500 for everything. I also had a moving company Quote me similar to U-Haul. Never looking at PODS anymore.

Scary, terrible, hidden charges, lost pod, no show for delivery, every rep said opposite location. Lost our pod charging us storage. Stay away!!!!!!!!

Wow, possibly worst company ever. Dropped my pod off if one of their giant forklifts. Never contacted me but continued billing me so I was paying for all my destroyed property to sit in their warehouse. They are making me wait weeks to even get to my destroyed stuff. Go another route,seems like a decent deal but it's a terrible company!!!!!! Andrew oviedo should be fired

Expensive, took 3 weeks to deliver, non responsive, salespeople seem to quote different prices. Additional add on fees.We wanted to move from North Carolina to Florida using pod. We originally wanted to use them using a promotion they sent by email saying we would receive a $100 Amazon gift card. - that was a lie as after placing our order and being transferred they never heard of it and they stated it was “a lottery”. Quoted different prices from various calls and offered various discounts as well that ends seeming like an old salesman selling you a car. Don’t know why they don’t just offer you the best price, especially as you are more or less paying double of uhaul. Pod was picked ip on the 19th June and we were told it would take 5 days to arrive and would remain in storage once arrived as we hadn’t found any accommodation yet. Sounded great at first and now fast forward ten days, we moved in, phone up to get it delivered only to be told it is still in North Carolina!!! Their website literally says you can schedule an appointment as many times as you want to visit your pod to access things. Well we can’t because it’s still in a different state! Only reason I believe is they are saving money shipping a group of pods together to Florida to save money. But what about the almost $4000 I paid…? Emailed them without response as went to an “investigation” when you phone them expect a 45 minute wait on the line- this could be solved if they left an option for you to get a phone call back. Discovered an additional charge that we were not told about for the re delivery. I asked them specifically what is the final charge and any other fees. I was just told a few if we kept it in storage longer. The whole experience dealing with pod has been frustrating. The pod itself is cool that you can take your time to pack, however given the cost, delay and hassle I would highly not recommend them and go with someone else.

Very convenient for a DIY moving solution. Inexpensive door to door service. I have used them twice and was extremely satisfied on both occasions. Highly recommended.

A company that cares about money over safety. Two PODS sat on our busy Wilmington residential road on a blind curve for just short of six months, turning the entire road and multiple driveways into serious hazards. The police required them to be moved because they were a danger. Three weeks later and they are BACK blocking the road despite the fact that they sat untouched since the first week they were put there. PODS refuses to address complaints from non-cops. Dangerous.

Using PODS was the best option for us as we moved out of a home and had to wait a month to move into the next. All of the employees we encountered were courteous and knowledgable. While I don't want to move again any time soon, if I had to I would use PODS again.

All I wanted was a simple quote for a one bedroom apartment, the sales representative wouldn’t just give me a quote asked the exact same thing I put in online like for heavens sake just give me a price. Then he quoted me 4500 for a pod that would hold furniture from a 500 sq ft apartment like have they lost their minds ??

My POD experience was not a good one. Order 4065367. They delivered the POD with the door facing the wrong way. I asked the driver to turn it around as I needed it to be placed a specific way with the door opening toward street and that is what I requested. He said he couldn't because that’s how they loaded the POD on his truck. So we had to have it placed in the middle of our parking area so we could access the door. With 3 of our own cars used daily and 2 trucks from the renovation crew, parking was a nightmare and was for an entire month. I’ll never rent again. This caused us a lot of stress and was terribly inconvenient for the month we used the POD.

I rented the largest POD for several months. I requested that it be moved 20' to the left of where it was originally placed, but not past the corner of the building. Not only did someone not move it where I had asked, they moved where I told them not to, blocking access to my back yard. When I called them to move it where I had asked, they were going to charge me a SECOND time to move it where I had asked for it to be moved the first time. Rocky Point Storage and Travis will not receive any business from me, my businesses or friends. Horrible attitude and lack of customer service. Already cancelled their service and hired another local company that cares about doing the job right the first time...They were asked to move it ONLY 20' to the left of where it was. They moved it closer to 40 and are blocking access to my backyard for my construction crews.
