I had bought a shirt, and realized after I washed it, it had an issue. I called the store, they said they would exchange it. I live in NJ and I mailed it out. I was sent a replacement within the week. When I called, a woman Isabelle was very professional and helpful. There was no problem with me sending and doing the exchange. I recommend this store. It is a fun store too. My next trip to NC, I will be sure to stop in and support the business. Never seen such friendly people who love their job. Like I said I am in NJ, you do not see friendly people at all really.

Erika's Pet Groming, WilmingtonErika's pet grooming provided great pet service. Unfortunately my dog was too aggressive to complete his hair cut. Erika and her staff was very understanding and considerate. I felt really bad about the situation, since he could have injured Erika and her staff, but they tried to be as accommodating as possible, which I really appreciate, but still I as the owner of my dog, I should have know better about my dog's behavior. I made sure to apologize to Erika and her staff right away when I arrive back to pick up my dog. I even attempted to pay Erika and her staff some form of fee for their service, but they politely would not accept my money. This is how understanding they were about my dog situation, which they did not have to be. Ultimately my dog will need training in order to be more calm and less aggressive to be able to get his hair cut. Erika and her staff even suggested that I come back again at another time hoping that my dog would settle down. So they were still very welcoming, which they didn't have to be due to the unfortunate experience I put them in with my dog. At the end, I hope to return back due to Erika and her staff great service and affordable price. Thank you

I love Show Quality and will always take my dogs here. I live on the other side of town but it's worth the drive. I believe it's family owned and you can tell they really care about their clients. They recently informed me that one of my dogs had dead fleas on them and whatever flea protection I was using is working. That is very reassuring considering I checked my dog over for fleas a few days prior and didn't see anything on her. So they were able to find what I couldn't. I love the bows they put on the ears.All over great place and highly recommend

1637 Wellington Ave, WilmingtonThere are A LOT of groomers in very dog-friendly Wilmington NC. However, there's only one Bark Avenue and Christy. The premises are always spotless and Christy's wonderful little boy (Boo-Boo) patters about spreading calm and cheer to the clients. No racks of terrified pups awaiting their turn here, just a quiet, welcoming efficiency hangs in the air.
Christy herself is outstanding at her craft PLUS she listens carefully to what owners want done and always follows through. She is friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. Finally, Christy is great at predicting what time your pup will be ready and, if she's held up for some reason, she lets you know in plenty of time. Howver, this almost never happens.
My pups, Mimi & Madeline always look great when I pick them up, and most importantly, they do not appear stressed in the least.
Bark Avenue is by far the best choice for your pet in this city.

I lost 1 of my dogs during that time to heart failure- Dr. Sykes was amazing throughout the entire treatment and I was blessed to have an extra 1.5 years I didn't think I would get. I have continued service with them since then with Beauby and each time the front desk staff is amazing- friendly, they genuinely care about you and your fur babies. Both doctors are down to earth and genuinely care for the animals. Pricing is affordable. No surprise charges. Visits are quick with zero wait time. I am grateful to have such an amazing team caring for my fur babies. Thank you!

Wellspring Holistic Veterinary Care
3150 Wrightsville Ave, WilmingtonThe most incredible vet in Wilmington! So beyond grateful for how much he cares for Bella and all pets. Bella suffered a horrible side effect from a drug called PosaTex that another vet prescribed to her which caused her to go 100% deaf in both of her ears. It was absolutely devastating and she was so miserable and confused for over a week. She also had a double ear infection. No one was willing to help. Dr Kerr was able to fit her in promptly and he recommended Ozone therapy. Within 24 hours of her first treatment, Bella’s hearing had significantly improved and her infection is almost gone at recheck that she has been fighting for over a month. Dr Kerr has truly saved us! We are so thankful her hearing is coming back. He also has checked in on us multiple times to see how she’s doing. Thank you so much!

This is the response I get from those who have known Percy since before we started with Bradley at K9 Off Leash Dog Training. We were at our wits end with a 70lb big boy who pulled, lunged, and fought every step of his walk. We were tired of having our arms yanked around like a rag doll. Bradley evaluated us and our doggo. He set us up with a program perfect for us. We learned so much! Evaluating environments, triggers and markers, commands, and rewards. He truly set Percy up for success. Within a month we noticed the change. Percy was much more confident and relaxed. We were much more confident and relaxed. Best of all, we could walk down the street and handle situations like a pro. Teaching us as a team made this training much more than “basic training.” It was a life-altering journey. We plan to do the advanced training with Bradley and K9 Off Leash Dog Training to continue this run of confidence and give Percy the amazing life he deserves.

Definitely was very eye opening on how much we should be doing ourselves in assisting our dog in training and not expect our pup to train herself. The classes taught us much more than they taught her… so I highly recommend it for people that want to do things right at home. Don’t expect to go in and sit and watch and not participate in your pup’s training… which may have been the most valuable lesson. Looking forward to the more advance classes and day trainings in the near future!Just as a 2024 update, we signed up our pup, who did puppy preschool, to the freedom class where it teaches her (and us) how to use an eCollar for walking, placing, urgent scenarios, etc. and this one may have been as fun as the preschool class. She has learned alot more confidence with this one and alot more skills for her to be able to walk around our neighborhood, or the beach, or sit at a restaurant. With this class, we still have lifetime support and access to additional once a week support classes. Definitely have a ton of value with working with them and we are so impressed that our pup has a ton of skill from all of this training and she is barely 1 year old. Next pup (or pups) will definitely go through these trainings again and couldn't recommend them more for your pups too.

She helped solve our biggest problem with him pulling on the leash, by simply showing us a new harness and how to use it. Our dog is smart and he adapted almost instantly. As for spice level, it’s definitely tolerable but builds up as you finish the bowl. The prices are more steep than I’m used to with poke but because a majority of the bowl is the protein, versus what other places do where the majority is rice & toppings with a few protein. The tuna literally melts in your mouth and has absolutely no fishiness to it. Will definitely be back to try the other flavors.. The outside and inside seating was very clean and decorated nicely and customer service was very friendly.

6404 Amsterdam Way Unit 100, WilmingtonStopped here on a whim staying at the KOA nearby and wow.... Beer is awesome, vibes are great, and plenty of space to hang! There are a ton of tables outside and the inside is a couple cozy rooms with various seating which is great for new friends and old. We enjoyed two flights and the food truck tonight. They have a variety of beers and all the ones we tried were tasty - definitely coming back for more this weekend. Dog friendly!

New Hanover Humane Society
2405 N 23rd St, WilmingtonMy family wanted to get a 2nd dog and visited the New Hanover Humane Society. The shelter had many dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes available for adoption. Rebecca, a staff member, was extremely helpful in picking the right dog to get along with our cranky older female dog. Rebecca introduced us to the most wonderful dog. He is big and fuzzy and so calm and gentle. He gets along beautifully with our other dog. We love him so much and couldn't imagine a better dog for our family. I highly recommend this shelter to others seeking to add a pet to their lives.
