I wanted to give a big shout out to Tanya, the manager of palmetto moon. My teenager and I were frantically running around Mayfair looking for some cute outfits for my daugher for her new job. All of the stores that said they were open until 8 PM closed earlier except for Palmetto moon. We arrived at the store just before 8 and it was like we had a private shopping party! Who knew they had great brands like Free People! Tanya was so helpful and we left there with some great pieces that my daughter absolutely loves! ❤️

Me and my boyfriend love to shop here. We have never had a problem until now. I bought my boyfriend a white hat for Christmas and he barely wears it because it is white and he does not want to ruin it. Well the other day he decides to wear it and the logo fell off. I reached out to customer service and they were no help.

The rudest staff of any store in Wilmington. Tried to return a gift card that I no longer needed and was given a lot of attitude. Apparently you can’t return gift cards even though it doesn’t say anything on the return policy about it. Will never shop there again

I used to love this store, but they have gone down hill drastically. No one greets you, and it’s so unwelcoming. The people working didn’t even care to help me take a shirt down that I couldn’t reach. So I just ripped the shirts I needed right off the hanger. A girl stood right outside the dressing room, I’m sure to make sure I wouldn’t ship lift, but still you don’t have to be right outside the door. Also, they make returns so stupid. I had my receipt, the card I paid with but not my license (I had just lost it) but I had my student Id. Literally, they almost didn’t let me return. It wasn’t until the manager rolled her eyes and said it was fine. Work on hiring better people!!

I’ve been shopping at Palmetto Moon for two years now. The past two times I’ve visited I’ve been followed or stared at by 3 employees. I went yesterday with my friend, experienced the same treatment. I left immediately and didn’t even make a purchase. The environment is always unwelcoming, whether I buy something or not. Palmetto Moon needs to get it together and stop assuming people of color steal. I can’t support this business after my experience.

i was accused of shoplifting and was being followed around the whole store and got security called on me when i had done nothing wrong, after i had left the dressing room they went and searched it and did not search it for anybody else, as well as when i went to check out the tried to search my dress and as i left they watched me. i did not appreciate the assumption they made about me.
