I don't know if I can or can't recommend this place. We got our reclaimed wood when we did our new build back in 2012 for our new house. The wood came from the cape fear river & laurenburg a mill that was claimed. We put our order in one year in before the build - so we would have the wood and it would be ready- well guess what- the order was NOT ready on time even a year pre ordered- which was extremely frustrating- we paid cashed up front we were our own General contractor! Btw, the owners of old growth were rude and he was mean to me on the phone. We paid Cash up front for our order which wasn't cheap note this also. Our contractors were waiting on HIM for him to dry the wood that was supposed to be done a year ago on time for our build! This guy can't handle a house order- note cypress can't go on the floor either too soft it went on our ceiling and we got mahogany red wood instead for our den & front/back porch. So please make sure when you pay , pay 1/2 up front and make sure you have the wood waiting for your contractors on site before the build - don't do what we did learn from us and our mistake! If you like to see our new house and build its unique and a Charleston, southern living - rainbow row home plans which we had an architect tweaked up ! We are green hone with a geothermal system, foamed red metal roofing 12x12 wood beams cemented into the ground, hurricane proof home that can with stand over 150 mph gust and it never moved ! Let us know! We love and enjoy our beautiful gorgeous family home!

Loved the concept of Old Growth Riverwood and the pictures were beautiful. I called for a quote on a custom piece and was told I would get a call back within a couple of hours. Never heard back. Got the impression they were too busy for such a small order. If that was the case, I should have told that.
