Made 2 visits in 1 - my first and and my last.
I called Market Street on Thursday, Sept. 5 needing 2 used 205/65-R15 tires. The gentleman placed me on hold and returned a short time later confirming they had 2 in stock. I asked how much they were and he quoted $60 installed and balanced. I thanked him for his time and told him I’d be by the following day with my wheels.
On Friday, Sept. 6, I took my lunch break from work and went to Market Street to have the tires installed. After arriving, I was informed they did not have the tires I requested in stock, but could install 195/65-R15 tires instead. I questioned why they would confirm they had a tire they didn’t truly have, and was told it was an odd size that they seldom carry - Not really answering my question.
I approved the substitute tire since I needed them for a trip the following day, and needed to return to work as quickly as possible.
After the tires were installed on my wheels I approached the counter to pay and was informed the total was $107. I asked why the total was $47 more than what I was quoted the day before. I was told the quoted price was if I had brought my own tires to be installed and didn’t include the price of the tire. This explanation doesn’t make sense when the day before I asked whether the tires I needed were in stock, and also asked for a quote.
A true “bait and switch” scam where they don’t actually have what they say they do, and the substitute is more expensive. If I didn’t have an immediate need for the tires, or to return to work from my lunch break, I would have asked they be dismounted and gone to Discount Tire where I could have purchased NEW tires for only $9 more.

Good service, reasonable prices, and fair quality tires. Got a used tire with install for les than $65. They even reset the service needed light for me for free.

My go to spot in town for tires. They have the best prices in town. They provide excellent customer service. They are prompt and reliable. I highly recommend them for state inspection, tires, oil change, breaks, tune up and any car service your car might need.

We live close to Market St tire but that’s not the reason we go. Juan and his crew are honest, hard working and fix for a reasonable price whatever issues you have. We are thankful we have found them for sure.

Worried about this place. The tire they replaced had been fine and then two weeks later I had a flat in the other tire (it was the same tire they were supposed to remove and throw out at the dump). So I’m not sure what to think.

Place is okay. They are a little high for used tires. Most of the time you can have a tire change (used $65.00) or inspection in 30-45 minutes. Be sure to check your wheels and center caps before you leave

They were great except they told us we would be finished in 30 minutes. 2 hours later they realized the tires had been finished but the tech forgot to tell anyone.
