I love this store and have for years. I was nervous about the new location but this store is much bigger and seems to have allowed for a larger selection. Workers are always very kind and knowledgeable. Today I walked in with two friends and we had a great time talking with a worker named Juniper and exploring the store. We talked to another worker with brunette hair, I just never caught their name but they were lovely as well. There are items for all kinds of budgets and always worth a walk through. My personal favorite items are the mystery boxes!My friend wanted to add on that she is Christian and was nervous initially. However, she felt like her beliefs and faith were treated just as important as others and like every practice had a form of representation in the shop.

Selection-I love Madame Meerkat. I just moved back to Wilmington and I had been missing this shop. It has been my go to metaphysical store since moving to Wilmington for the 1st time in 2020. I briefly stopped by the new location today and it seems like their inventory has expanded! I’m not sure if that’s because they have a new floor layout at this location, but I am definitely a fan of the way they set the place up! They have it looking spectacular in there.Staff-The staff has always been super friendly and never fails to help me out if I have questions.Tarot Readings-Back in 2021 and 2022 - I had 2 separate tarot readings. Both turned out to be beneficial and drove me to introspective behaviors that has lead me to grow into who I am today.

Lovely store and love the new location! My favorite place for oracle decks and herbs! The staff are always well informed, kind, and very helpful.I also found a lovely piece of petrified wood that I use in my tea ceremonies and it’s just beautiful!

The best shop in town for metaphysical supplies. Large variety of products/materials, very friendly staff, great prices, and overall amazing atmosphere. We will definitely be going back!

Was in Wilmington on vacation and stepped into Madame Meerkat's to grab a gift. Was not greeted by the man behind the counter, barely acknowledged. Found a shirt I wanted, and waited a good ten minutes while the man behind the counter had a conversation about all his upcoming travels. Never once noticing me standing there waiting to buy the shirt. As their convo was very involved and rather boisterous I could not get his attention, though I was one of only five people in the store (including himself, and the lady he was gabbing with). So, I put shirt back and left, him never once glancing my way. I do hope he enjoys the Netherlands and his travelling, but I sure wish I could have bought that shirt. Cool store, terrible experience. Hope yours is better!!

Absolutely LOVE everything they have to offer. I would come in and buy those little mystery boxes religiously ? It’s definitely one of my favorite crystal shops i’ve ever been to. I only wish Malachite wasn’t so expensive because it’s my favorite, but $10 for a tumble definitely feels a little much.Overall though, the atmosphere is great, always smells so good in the shop! I’m obsessed with the candles they sell, and they have a great selection of literature, tarot cards, jewellery, crystals, and more

My visit to Madame Meerkat's a while back was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The vast assortment of items is one of the best I've seen for a crystal / magic / spiritual shop, and the staff I interacted with during my visit were all incredibly kind and knowledgable. The crystals were well organized and the selection was outstanding. The shop also included lots of unique books, a wonderful candle selection, incense / oils, jewelry, and a hodgepodge of gift options if you're shopping for someone with more eclectic taste. Honestly? There aren't really words to describe what a treasure this shop is. If you find yourself in Wilmington and have a little time to spend, browsing through Madame Meerkat's makes for a wonderful morning or afternoon experience.
