The store at 2800 S College was my store up until 5-6 yrs ago when I moved closer to another HT. I have just moved back to the old area and went to the 2800 College rd store for the first time in several years. “what a DUMP”. Generally dirty, employees not friendly at all and a trip to the men’s bathroom made me want to throw up from the filth. I felt very unsafe in the parking lot. You need to shut this one down.

As I was shopping and gathering food a man with the name tag OSCAR approached me and a friend. Begins to profile us as high school students, and tells me that since I went to hoggard high school I wasn’t permitted to shop there. Harris tetter says they are built off of customer service.This is not customer service.

Harris Teeter at Lomgleaf mall is my favorite hsrris teeter. They know me and my family very well there and are so helpful when i cant find a particular item. 5 stars for the employees here too ... Lots of loyal long term workers still at this location!!

In the seafood department I purchased the dungeness crabs yesterday they were on sale for $9.99 a lb, big disappointment they were not good! But the scallops were fantastic but the cost is more than most people can afford including myself! I have to go there a few times a week because they are the closest store to where I live with dealing with traffic and the cost of gas they are more than I can really pay for food , probably spend close to $200 a week there!

I've always loved Harris Teeter, mostly because they've historically stocked more varieties of products, many that could ONLY be found at an HT, AND simply more products in general. Their customer service has also always been one of HT's strong points, bc they train each staff member to TRY to ensure each customer is fully assisted and COMPLETELY satisfied. 4 star rating bc, unlike years past, there are now MANY products I very much need that are NOT sold at HT but ARE sold by their less frilly, less pricey competition. UPDATE: Worked insanely late & stopped by HT 45 mins before they closed at 11P just to pick-up a couple of essentials. Although I don't mind using self-checkout, I did notice that there were NO registers open, so I wondered what I'd do if I were a disabled customer, or someone who simply couldn't/didn't WANT to use the self checkout kiosks. No bueno. Also - I was buying items that were on sale, but my phone number would not pull up my VIC info & I didn't have my physical VIC card, so I asked the one associate who was manning the kiosks if HE had a Store card. He didn't have one and didn't know how (or just didn't TRY) to obtain a store card for customer use, therefore I had to ask the one other customer near me (who was obviously in a hurry) if I could please use his card. Thankfully he obliged. Lastly, not only was the associate unable or unwilling to help me, but he complained about having to be at work until 11P. Never had these issues at Food Lion. Shame. :-/
