But today was the pinnacle- we needed to change our license plates and there was no way I was getting the old ones off. I walked in and asked what I might need to do the job. Nick (the owner) immediately said I can handle that for you. He did both cars, two sets of plates, and did it with the most genuine kindness. He spent a good 40 minutes at it (again, I'd NEVER have got the job done), using a variety of tools in his arsenal. Product, smiles, and down home service. Who needs the big chain stores. You folks ROCK! Thank you.

“Typical Harbor Freight Store. Usually a few folks in the store shoping but unless your visit is on a Saturday or they are having their parking lot sale, it's usually not crowded. Older building so a face lift would help but shouldn't stop you from visiting. At times the parking lot is a little sketchy so keep alert of your surroundings while exiting/entering you ride and lock your vehicle and stow valuables accordingly out if site.”

After 2 months of going back and forth with the IME dept numerous times, and having to drive 3 hours back and forth to Myrtle Beach to look at the counter top because they wouldn’t send a picture for us to approve the countertop color, BTW Sandy at Thompson Marble was great! We finally went to Lowe’s this morning and got everything straightened out with the help of Thomas and Crystal in the countertop dept . They were great! 6/24/24 Went into Lowe’s to order our new countertop,

“I’ve been a Steven’s customer since 2004, when it was a privately owned shop on Castle Street. Though it’s since been acquired by Ace Hardware, you’d never know it was part of a chain. The people who work there have always been friendly, helpful and professional. Margaretha especially will go out of her way to help me find what I need, offer great advice and suggest things I’d never thought of.
Steven’s is a rare gem in Wilmington. Unless you need something they don’t carry - which isn’t much - there’s no reason to go to the big box stores. Frankly, it’s my favorite store of any kind in the Wilmington area!”
