Hotel definitely needs an update. Water damage on the ceiling in our bathroom. Several mystery splatters on bathroom walls. ?Woodwork very worn. Lots of stains on the carpet. HVAC system had a mind of its own.
Not in a desirable location.
Would not choose to stay here again.

Took a business trip to Wilmington and stayed here. I usually choose Hampton Inn as they are reasonably priced, clean and have a free hot breakfast. This one did not disappoint. The added bonus was a quaint little bar with reasonably priced beverages as well. Making another trip later this year and will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend if you are in the area. Also, within walking distance is a Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings and a Japanese Steak House.
Walkability: Plenty to eat within walking distance.
Food and drinks: Free hot breakfast and a friendly little bar with reasonably priced drinks.

Rude front desk clerk. The price quoted at the front desk was 40% higher than online. When I brought this to her attention she told me to go book it online if I wanted to. So I promptly did just that ... at the Holiday Inn Express. I will be needing a motel room every 2 weeks for the next 14 months. Not here.

Very clean and quiet. Staff was superior, very friendly. The absolute best value I found, so I was pleasantly surprised that the facility was top notch!
And the breakfast...wow!! ?

Stayed for our weekend tournament, couldn’t have been more pleased! Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating! The hot breakfast was well stocked with a great variety of options and fresh! Our room could have been a little cleaner in the bathroom area upon arrival but housekeeping was great! I’d definitely stay again

So so but breakfast was nice if limited.
Rooms: Not bad but bed was a slab- not comfortable at all.

Nice staff and quick check in. Room was mediocre. Had splatter on the wall by the toilet that I'm only assuming was fecal matter. Some stains on the bed skirts. The AC had 2 modes- cold or off. Could not get it to adjust temperature at all.

Rooms were excellent with newer renovations. Wonderful food made at the beginning of the day hot and ready; and very close to the beach too. Will definitely try to come again!

This is a great Hampton. Mobile check in/out worked flawlessly. Clean, quiet rooms. Good breakfast. I’ll stay here again when I’m in the area.

Very nice place. Clean, quiet, and safe. Staff was nice and friendly with the exception of one. Can't wait to stay again.

Overall, this was a good Hampton Inn. The staff provided good service and that was a welcome change compared to some of the locations I've stayed.
The property is kept up nicely and the fitness center has ample equipment for a good workout.
