New to Wilmington from San Diego, I was having a hair "moment" and was in desperate search mode for a stylist who specializes in cutting a bob. After googling Best Salons in Wilmington, I found Gloss and all of the 5 star reviews, started reading the stylist profiles and was so excited to read about Stacie! I was happily surprised she had a day-of meltdown opening (lol) and was thrilled with my perfect cut! One week later I was back for highlights and she is seriously the best with blonde highlights that blend perfectly with her bob haircut! She's new to Wilmington, too, and brings her fabulous talent from Colorado! If you need a great cut and color, book with Stacie now! I thought I was a perfectionist - but Stacie is more! You won't be disappointed!!

Sophia is fantastic. Personable, kind and excellent at her profession. Able to cut curly hair and even do a dry cut which is great with curls.

Great hair salon with really nice people working here. This is the best haircut I've gotten since moving to Wilmington. The pricing is in par with most hair salons. I will be making Emily my go to girl feom now in.

All of their stylists are color masters and continue ongoing education, but I can't say enough about Emily Sherrill! You can tell that her profession is her passion! She not only listens carefully, she then assesses what might be best. I came in with damaged hair from a straightening procedure at another salon, and she knew exactly what to do to get my hair back on the road to full health again. Also, the salon is a very beautiful space with clean lines and decor. I also really appreciate the ease of their services and appointment website.

While visiting the Wilmington area I decided to see if I could get a haircut. Emily at Gloss was so good. She listen to my concerns and went above and beyond my expectations. Even knowing what I would like before I knew how to explain it. The atmosphere at Gloss was so nice. Very simple and classy not flashy! The hair washing room/station area was very relaxing. The head massage really elevated the experience . I visit the Wilmington area as often as possible and whenever I’m in the area I make sure I get an appointment with Emily. Very welcoming staff & upbeat environment, modern salon decor, talented stylists at reasonable prices. Highly recommend stylist, Emily, especially good "colorist"!?.. i change up colors frequently, and like to play around with bright "vivids" (which can be a very tricky & time consuming process that takes a very confident stylist who's very knowledgeable about hair color products & color processing techniques, etc.. which is why alot of stylists & salons won't even offer "vivids"!). Emily is very talented, creative, detail oriented and helpful in every aspect of even the most advanced hair coloring processes! 5⭐️'s!
