The people working there have no support and are understaffed heavily. There is no custodial crew and filthy. The prices are higher and the workers are paid less for more work. I emailed corporate and nothing seems to change.

The store is clean and well organized and you can always find an inexpensive "treasure"
Most of the merchandise is clothing, but there are small selections of housewares, toys, books, and occasionally a piece of furniture.

I’m out thrift-hopping Wilmington today (drove down from Raleigh). Plentiful parking at this location.
Two stars because I was shopping for a specific color top and this location was very well organized by color which made it super easy. Incredibly, I found what I was looking for and it wasn’t ripped or stained.
The store itself was very dirty. There were soiled underwear lying on the floor beside the mixed bins. Outside of clothing they don’t have much at all. Unfriendly employees.

Stuff was everywhere. Worker definitely had an attitude when I asked if I was to check out at the register she was at even though the sign said register was closed. She said well this is where a person is. Gave her the sign to show her why I asked.

I was convinced to visit this particular Goodwill only because a friend of mine assumed that, based on its location- in one of the more affluent areas of ILM, they'd have a wonderful selection of QUALITY/"NAME-BRAND"/GENTLY USED merchandise. It was immediately apparent that almost all of their high quality / like-new donated goods NEVER MAKE IT ONTO THE SALES FLOOR. 90% of the brand named clothing, etc. that we came across was irreversibly damaged, and even the pots & pans and knickknacks were in ATROCIOUS CONDITION. Bc I've personally donated a LOT of very nice items to Goodwill, I KNOW they receive the kind of "finds" people are hunting for. So, if NOT on the SALES FLOOR for ON-SITE customers to purchase, WHERE the HECK ARE ALL of the (formerly) PRICEY & HIGH QUALITY DONATED GOODS GOING?? My educated guesses are: 1) DIRECTLY TO GOODWILL'S ONLINE SHOPPING SITES; 2) INTO EMPLOYEES' CARS & THEN TO FCBK MARKETPLACE &/or CRAIGSLIST. I'll never again donate to NOR even CONSIDER buying merch from Goodwill. Two words for ILM donors AND shoppers: VINTAGE VALUES.

The guy shut the light off in the entire store while I was shopping, tried to overprice an item I was buying and then seriously asked me to DONATE after all of this! I DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS STORE AND WILL NEVER RETURN! NOT a Goodwill. Just money hungry!!! And btw, the store still had 10 minutes before closing. There was ABSOLUTELY no reason for his actions! I couldn't even see what I was trying to buy! -5 stars for his actions alone!

This place has buggies but they will not let you use them to push your toddler around they claim they are for store use only but when I'm shopping that should be stored use. I asked two workers to help me find a buggy so I can push my grandbaby and Shop and neither of them acted like they wanted to help at all and would not allow me to use the buggies they had very very disappointed with this overpriced place that charges an arm and a leg for things that were donated to them for free
