A treasure near downtown Wilmington. Easy walking distance to everything. Very nice rooms... Not extreme luxury, but nice, roomy, and week appointed. Easy contactless check-in.

I'm making this review as someone who booked a room here as a gift to some out-of-town guests. The customer experience in booking was stellar, Dale was very helpful and the communication from what to expect and how to check in was very appreciated. My guests were wowed by the location and room and it made their stay in Wilmington much more memorable.

Super cozy, chic & authentic Inn in beautiful Wilmington, NC. Rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated with attention to all details. Close to everything, convenient in terms of location, privacy & price! Will definitely be back!

Very disappointed in our stay. There was construction underway so no nice common area to enjoy, small back self-serve coffee and water with cookies in the evening. We selected the Bistro Suite mostly for its balcony, view of the garden and spa tub. The garden was a sad affair with mostly bare ground, no color and the main feature – a clothesline. The seating on the balcony was a wicker loveseat with torn worn spots in the cushion. In our room - the ceiling fan didn’t work, the spa tub didn’t work, the cold water tap on one of the sinks did not work. We continually had trouble connecting to and staying connected to the feeble WiFi. We did have a nice breakfast but had to walk a few blocks to another property for it. The huge bright spot in this stay was Damien, the manager. He has a permanent smile and was very, very personable and helpful. It seems the property has no overnight staff on premise so Damien came from his house to help address the WiFi issues.

Excellent bed and breakfast in downtown Wilmington, NC. Perfectly located, rooms exactly as described, and more than happy to accommodate additional requests. The staff goes above and beyond. The only issue we encountered was that the water pressure in our room (Kipling) was extremely high. Water jetted out of the sink and shower with reckless abandon. Adding to this, the water temperature in the shower fluctuated. If it was set to a cool temperature it would, occasionally, become blisteringly hot for a few seconds before returning to normal. Other than these minor issues, I would recommend the accommodations!Nearby activities: Within walking distance of any attraction in downtown Wilmington.Walkability: Located right off a sidewalk that connects you to the entire downtown area.

we stayed in the cottage. our key code didn't work for the main building or the cottage until they reset it. I can't say enough good things about the decor and appliances, beds, grounds. However, on a 96F day the air did not flow upstairs well, perhaps just excessive heat that day. the jets flying in to Wilmington woke me up at 4:30-6am so I lost all that sleep. I'm not sure how to get around that. The breakfast was a waffle maker and OJ. Lovely room but my party and another family couldn't eat the waffles as he mix tasted off/ sour/ spoiled. The breakfast needs a lot of work and no hosts to be found on property. I love the buildings and elaborate upgrades; but the planes, keypads not working and the breakfast were sub par.

The Monet room was lovely although the claw tub shower part was too short for me. Still really great for a bath. Great location to downtown. Really close to everything. Service was amazing from the people there. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service is because the Inn is advertised as a bed and breakfast but all they offer in the morning is coffee, waffles you make yourself with only syrup and butter, and cereal. For a bed and breakfast, I was expecting the breakfast part to be a bit more than it was. Otherwise I definitely recommend this hotel.Nearby activities: In the downtown area so there's a lot to get into within walking distanceWalkability: Close to everything so walking around was easy and access to the hotel was seamless as well

Absolutely incredible bed and breakfast in the heart Wilmington! It was right on the water, walking distance from many restaurants, bars, shops, and more. The staff was wonderful, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and our room was so wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the Switzerland Suite.

If you know me, I rarely give 5's.Most establishments have some niggling things that lower the score, NOT SO here. This is a six star inn. From the minute we knocked on the door until the last parting good-bye it was all the best there is in the service industry.Dynva was gracious and helpful.Even help with some of the luggage.Roms are well appointed with modern furnishings and immaculately clean bedding and rooms.Love the locking system which allows for everyone staying to have entry but only to common areas plus their room.Lots of safe off-street parking that was free as opposed to some cities.Continental breakfast was fresh and tasty.Nespresso machine in room is a delicious plus. The location was perfect. Walk to several museums and many restaurants and shops.River walk was 3 minutes from front door. Can't wait to return to continue our explorations.Walkability: 5 minutes from downtown.Noteworthy details: Approximately 10 rooms and suites. You would never know it. It's so quiet , it's like your own private residence.

Where do I even begin?! First off, the staff was phenomenal. Damian was very accommodating, professional, and kind. The location of this B&B was perfect for our Wilmington stay as it was in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to all of your favorite shops, restaurants, coffee, and of course the beach. Access instructions were easy, parking was offered and overall the B&B is just beautiful. Tons of snacks, coffee and tea out for your pleasure and a nespresso in your room if you are a caffeine addict like myself- this touch was surely appreciated. Our room was stunning and modern, clean and my goodness the wax melt they had going was to die for. It felt homey. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and if you don't enjoy the meal in on the terrace you're missing out. We will never not come back to Front Street Inn when we are in Wilmington and truly appreciate all the staffs hard work into making this such a special stay for us!Rooms: The interior of each room is designed differently and individually. The room was modern, it was a statement. It was clean, smelled amazing and overall just a really great comfortable space.Nearby activities: Beach access, restaurants, bars, tattoo shops, coffee shops, dessert and more.Walkability: Right in downtown so you can find a shop within a 10 minute or less walk.

When you want to stay minutes from the fun stuff, at Front Street Inn it's only seconds away! Beautiful historic downtown Wilmington restaurants and antique stores are mere feet from the front door! The Cape Fear Riverwalk is less than 100yds from you! ENJOY!

SAVE YOUR MONEY, STAY FAR AWAY. Booked a more expensive room specifically for the jetted tub. The Georgia O' Keefe suite arrive tub is broken told by Bradley the on site manager. A repair was scheduled for the day we were leaving. Ask about a partial refund or some future credit, bottle of wine etc. Bradley said he would check with general manager. This all happened within 30 minutes of check in. Still waiting for a response from Bradley. The robes and towels were a cotton polyester blend that were the most rough, scratchy I've ever felt from any rental accommodations. The bed was ok definitely not the quality you expect from a "boutique bed and breakfast". All in all one of the worst stays my wife and myself have ever experienced. The lack of communication about issues before arrival with the room amenities. To the lack of follow through from the empty words of Bradley. I repeat save your money and stay away.

My friend and I were very pleasantly surprised with this property. The location is perfect, as it is on the edge of the restaurant/bar area in old, downtown Wilmington. It's an easy walk to everything. Luckily, we got the only room in this inn with two separate beds. The hotel group that recently purchased this building and two others nearby, did a great job with the renovation. The room was very aesthetically, pleasing, pristine, comfortable, and outfitted with nice amenities, such as a Nespresso, coffee machine, a Netflix account for movie watching, a small refrigerator, and even a package of wet, make up remover towelettes in the bathroom. The staff on site, primarily cleaning personnel, as their hospitality concept makes use of a lot of self-entry/self-service around the property, were all very friendly. The breakfast room provided for more than a continental breakfast which was ample for getting one energized for the day. Somehow, we booked this property at exactly the right time to secure an amazing price for this very comfortable room. We were delighted! This hotel group has, as mentioned earlier, two other properties within blocks of the Front Street Inn. While we only walked by The Verandas; we were given a tour of some of the accommodations in the Greystone Inn property--well done! The rooms are highly aesthetically appealing. We look forward to staying in that property next time we visit Wilmington. Bravo! You are rocking it, Jamie and Ace!!!

Our room was clean and quiet, with no disruptions at all on the second floor. We had easy access via external stairs to a hallway door. All doors and check-in are remote. You are given an access code that works on all doors you will need. The location is great as it is downtown, just walk outside and start your adventure.
