My hat is off to Tim and his late father, for all the success they have enjoyed over these many years. They are tobacconists, not just sellers of a product to extend their business offerings. I enjoy a cigar on that occasion I wish to sit upon my deck, drink a glass of wine or spirits, and rock on my rocker. I special order my cigars and pipe tobacco shipped to me, and I take advantage of Tim's knowledge of his product and my tastes, to deliver by mail what I expect to enjoy. I love this place! There are several cigar shops, sure, but this place, in my opinion, offers the best customer service. It is the best casual setting, and it feels like an actual cigar spot. They have a humidor in the back as well. Legendary spot!

I was tasked with buying a box of cigars for a bachelor party even though I don't know much about cigars. I did a bit of local research and saw recommendations for Davis & Son. I was happy with my choice - they took the time to explain different cigar brands to me without making me feel dumb, pricing was competitive, and the guys at the bachelor party were happy with the end result. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for a cigar shop in Wilmington.

Stopped in for a bundle of cigars ($85) asked for a discount on a cutter or even for free was told I don't giveaway anything. Cigars were great customer service not so great. Just moved into the area won't be going back.

Tim sold me my first pipe at 18, and taught me how to pack it, I'm 34 now and been going to him ever since. Tim and his wife arent just helpful, theyre passionate teachers willing to not just help you, but educate you on the ins and outs of anything your shopping for. There are lots of good businesses here in town, but Davis and son shines even in a bright place.

Nice place, big but they’re non-smoking! Explanation - we decided to stay non-smoking after CoVid - it’s as if they’re totally oblivious to what they are selling? . If not for a decent selection of Padrons I’d have given them a 1.
