D Baxter is fantastic. They've repaired lamps for me since 2019, when I started taking them lamps damaged in Hurricane Florence, plus one hurricane-damaged brass chandelier (maybe 50-70 years old), and another lamp just recently. Every single item was meticulously repaired. They explained the problem clearly and made repairs promptly -- no small feat following a natural disaster. All of the lamps were given to me by family members, including my mother, so Baxter's care and attention was invaluable to me. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable, too! Thank you, Baxter's, so much. Five stars, A+++. 10 out of 10.

Small businesses such as Baxter’s who offer a unique and quality everyday product in lighting along with knowledgeable and very pleasant staff are becoming extinct. Baxter’s brings good things to light!!!

I went there to look at lamps, as well as get new shades for a pair of lamps that I had in my guest bedroom. Patty suggested a new shade that updated the guest room lamps completely! I brought several new lamps home to try in my entryway -- I kept the one that worked. Finding the right lighting is a process, it requires creativity and patience. It can be fun also. I purchased mini chandelier shades for my dining room light to soften the glare - so nice! Lastly, having 2 lamps repaired and updated with new harps and shades! A good experience at this store.

Really boring stuff highly overpriced. Lots of excuses about how long it would take even though I made no issue. It's Covid. I get it. The more you harp on it the more suspicious I'll become. I don't know. Just really unimpressed.

I went in looking for table lamps. The person helping me had the personality of a toad and made me feel like I wasn't worthy to shop. The store in general was a great resource for lamp shades, and carried a small selection of table lamps, however I will find another store for my needs.
