Pharmacy is in the furthest part of the store from the entrance. Creating a scenario where ill people are walking corner to corner and spreading sick. Then once you arrive at the counter you're standing next to their disease corner. Where ol timey barber shop worthy OKs are given for customers to receive vaccines. Then they leave the trash in a can right next to the register. If this isn't all done by design, it must mean the designer lacks common sense. Problem is I don't believe it to be the latter. Can you at least put the vaccination chamber (a dirty curtain around a couple chairs, a trash can with swabs from wiping stuff deemed unsanitary for injection, 3 ft from the register because money is so sanitary) in that far left corner? Maybe have an enclosed room that is more sanitary? I can't be the only one to see the absurdity? Is it a way to spread germs to more people to sell more pharmaceuticals. Here! Touch all these doo-dads and nick-nacks as you go by, person coughing up what sounds like a loaf of bread! I bet most people would be better off stopping at the supplements if this seems normal to those in management. How can you trust that?
I gave 3 stars because it's close to my house and they've come through for me to get specific brands a few times in a pinch.

24 years a customer at this location, and the employees are always courteous and helpful. Pharmacists are caring, informative and approachable. I appreciate that whether it's at the counter, on the phone or driving up, I get equally great service. The store is clean, organized and well stocked.

Ordered various items that I needed, I am currently homebound due to cancer treatments. Needed supplies were at my door in about 90 minutes.

David was the kindest person we interacted with at this CVS. Best pharmacist we ever met. We lived out of town and David saved our vacation by helping us out! Thank you so much David! Would 100% come back!!!

I forgot my medication at home in Portland and this pharmacy was outstanding in their extreme dedication to ensuring I wouldn't deal with adverse side effects--by filling my prescription on a Saturday in record breaking time. The pharmacist David, specifically made my entire vacation by his altruistic nature and superb costumer service. I will absolutely be using this CVS again, if I ever find myself back in NC. Thank you.

I have been going to the CVS over by veterans Park for nine years and today I came across the rudest pharmacy tech!! Her name is Dawn and I have never encountered someone so rude in my 50 years. She would not answer questions about the medication and when I asked a question she just said she didn’t know, and that she couldn’t find it. Her tone was extremely rude and short and it was obvious. She is definitely in the wrong field and absolutely does not need to be dealing with customers at all. When I went to pay with cash she said they didn’t have change. I left. I will be pulling all my family’s prescriptions from this pharmacy moving forward. Dawn, you’re reading this, you were in the wrong field.

Maybe the staff has turned over since all of the negative reviews because I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the pharmacist and staff! Friendly, helpful and professional. Wanted to post to offset the previous reviews, definitely not what I experienced recently

Do not send prescriptions here. The pharmacy has been closed during business hours for 4 consecutive days while we have been trying to get a script filled. Any business without a continuity plan shouldn't be trusted.

I've been to several of the CVS stores in the 4 years I've lived in Wilmington. I find this store on the corner of Carolina and Shipyard to be one of the best. The pharmacy is top notch. Always answers my questions about medications (who better to explain them). I never feel rushed and the only time they didn't have a medication I needed refilled they promptly had it the next day. The staff in the front of the store are welcoming and when they notice a line forming they quickly attend to it. I don't get all the negative reviews as I've never encountered any rudeness. I realize that staffing all over the country is down as a remnant of covid times so I have patience. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because we all can improve something.

Everyone I have been to they are rude and will ignore you standing there for 15/20 minutes. When you call you can't ever get them to answer. I would say Carolina Beach CVS is the worst out of all.. and if you do get them on the phone they act like you're bothering them..

THIS CVS HAS THE WORST CUSTOMERS SERVICE. PHARMACISTS ONLY CARE ABOUT HOW FAST THEY CAN FILL PRESCRIPTION TO GET THEY COMMISSIONS AND NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING CUSTOMERS....

This cvs is absolutely the worst in town be prepared to wait very long and always never have it in stock plus you get the wonderful rude attitude and poor customer service. I since went to Walgreens. I went one day to get my med it $20 forget my wallet home the Walgreen employee said it ok she and paid for it for me .without a question. This would off never happen at this cvs .The pharmacist P horrible lady and attitude towards customers who ask questions i rather suffer before going back to this cvs.Do not do business with companies who disrespect our community.

This is THE WORST pharmacy I have EVER been to. The most aggravating thing about them is that they close THEIR pharmacy at 8:00 p.m. instead of the time listed online as 9:00 p.m.!! We have gone up there at 8:10 p.m. and the pharmacy is locked up tight with no human in sight. If you look at the "Hours of Operation" sticker you can see where someone has scratched off the M-F p.m. time. Is this even legal? I asked a couple of days ago when I went back up to pick up the Rx I tried getting the night before why they close at 8:00 (which is NOT posted) when all the other CVS pharmacies close at 9:00. The response I got from the Tech was, "I don't know we have just always closed at 8:00." She says this unapologetically and a bit nervous! To be sure I am not the only one who has complained about this. Sure, I can go to others around us. This one happens to be within walking distance of our townhome. The other thought I have is does CVS corporate know that they are paying a Pharmacist(s) and Techs at this location for an hour they are not working!!
