Everyone at this CVS location is always so helpful, especially Tom, the manager.

Customer service at this pharmacy is abysmal. I've been receiving CVS texts and phone calls constantly about prescription renewals despite not having any active prescriptions or any eligible for renewal. I called the pharmacy to try to stop all the messages and was told there's nothing they can do CVS Corporate controls those. I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager and was hung up on. Thankfully there's choice with your pharmacy...just go to Walgreens they're always right across the street.

I just wanted to say that Miles who works up front is so wonderful. He introduces himself to everyone. Always offers to help, and is all around just delightful. I wish there were more like him at CVS and life in general. Keep on shinning Miles! We see you!

It doesn’t matter what time of day the pharmacy is always overwhelmed, the staff is rude and it is clear that this is an unpleasant work environment. I have been a customer here for too long and am moving my prescriptions.

Pharmacy team is always super with updates, even if a prescription is on a nation-wide back order. Other pharmacies refuse to answer phone when you need immediate help. Lines move pretty fast for this to be a smaller location. Miles is sure to make your day at checkout.

I’ve had not one but two horrible incidents with this particular store. First the pharmacist was arguing about whether or not I “really needed” opioids two weeks after a total knee replacement. Since when does the pharmacist get to decide whether they want to fill a prescription a doctor deems medically necessary??? The second incident was when I went in for a flu and Covid vaccine. The person giving me the vaccine said oh we only received your request for the flu vaccine. I showed them the online confirmation indicating both the flu and Covid vaccines and they said they could probably work me in for the Covid vaccine if I waited for ONE TO TWO HOURS. So I made an appointment, but all the walk-ins waiting were given priority.Even though this is the closest pharmacy to my house, I’ve transferred everything away from this store. I’d rather wait in a long line at Walgreens than deal with this.

Pharmacy tech snippy, unnecessarily hostile, and walked away from me in mid sentence when I had concerns about an Rx. Won’t go back for any reason.

I've always had great experiences with this CVS, specifically the pharmacy. Friendly knowledgeable staff, Always eager to help. I don't usually prefer chain pharmacies But this one is the exception period

Had a pharmacist tell me she was counting my pills out today and that was the reason for my wait. My medicine was a in a sealed bottle from a separate company. There was nothing to count out. Not only have they messed up my prescriptions, their pharmacists are liars. I can look past mistakes here and there but I can NOT trust someone with my medicine if they will be blatantly and proudly lying to me. Not using CVS anymore.

I had a rough experience with another CVS in Wilmington and with their customer service phone number, and came to the Eastwood CVS in hopes they could help me out.Not only did they help me out with my issue, but they did so with kindness and good communication. I will absolutely shop at this CVS moving forward ?✨

For those who have had bad experiences at CVS (I was one) please read this. I just moved to the Wilmington, NC area and had a lot of trouble converting my prescriptions over. As a diabetic, insulin is a matter of life and death. Due to timing, the wrong prescription was sent to CVS and then sold to me without me knowing it, I purchased the wrong insulin. The store couldn't take it back and even though it was technically a new prescription the insurance wouldn't cover it.I called in a panic because I was almost out of insulin and Thank GOD I got Nina. She was calm and quickly understood the situation and the history. She was able to get me an emergency dosage the next day with insurance coverage. She called me to come to get the prescription which took about 20 minutes. By the time I got there, she had found a discount coupon that reduced the price from $195 to $75. No words could express my thanks and hope you will do as I did and give CVS another chance if you have had a bad experience at this store.
