Amee at National Pawn in Wilmington made selling my computer monitor for a fair price quick and easy. What more can you ask? The store was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. Try them out.

This was my first time being in a pawn shop in probably 20 years. The staff were extremely friendly. The place was clean and had a great clearance selection. They have so much jewelry it's crazy! They have a lot of guitars here, too.

I was interested in a moped that was posted to Facebook marketplace. I messaged with Nadia who gave me more information and told me to come in. I drove an hour & half to pick up scooter. When I got there I was told by assistant manager Omar that the scooters needed to be charged all weekend because the battery's had died; and I would have to come back Monday (it was Saturday). I was confused because I was told they were ready to sell over messages. When Nadia graciously took over the situation and told me the starter had been left on causing the battery to die. She said the scooter was on and running 3 days ago. I then jumped to say I want it regardless of if u can prove it works right now or not. I had cash in hand. Nadia is the only reason I was able to make this deal. Before she came out to help Omar "assistant manager" was very disheveled and unaware of any of the answers to my questions. Nadia was absolutely wonderful in helping me and loading the scooter to take home. Furthermore, I paid with $500 in fives. I was almost positive that's about how much was there. When money was counted in machine it came out to be way less. I ended up just believing they counted it right and paying them the extra. Well.... couple days later I get a call from the famous Omar that their machine miscalculated and they owe me $180! I was happy they called to let me know but still mad this even happened!!!! I told them I thought it was more and they said their machine is right. Anyways, I'm arguing with Omar because I want to pick up money at location that is closer to me. They are telling me it has to be at a certain time and day when I can go get MY MONEY. I just feel in this situation they need to bend over backwards. Ask for Nadia. Avoid Omar

Some employee had posted on Facebook marketplace they had a Gameboy for sale. I messaged the employee asking if it was still available, and that I would head to the store immediately to purchase. The employee never answered my message. Drove 30 minutes across town and when I walk in I was told that it was sold. Talk about shady business practice. I will not EVER shop at this pawn shop again. On top of that the employee continues to contact me saying that what they did is not shady, however I beg to differ. Wasting an hour of someone's time driving back and forth is pretty shady if you ask me. Stay away from this place! There are plenty other pawn shops in town
