After an accident, I unexpectedly found myself at 84 searching for a car which was a little challenging. I checked online and started visiting dealers who had cars that I liked. A few places pretty much ignored me but at Coastal Motors Billy and Michele were more than willing to answer any questions and walk me through the process of finding the right vehicle.They were patient with the paperwork and within days I was in the best driving car I have ever had! I purchased a car here, and not even a month later the Check Engine Light starts blinking ( not good at all ). Just took the car to a repair shop and the mechanic said one of the spark plugs was so brittle that it broke in his hand. This comes after Bill said that he fully inspects his cars before he sells them and spark plugs seems like something that would be found in an inspection. So he either lied about the inspection or hid the fact from a customer. Now let’s say he didn’t know, when I called him to tell him about this and how I’ve been stuck in a city far from home due to fear of breaking the car further ( not being able to have a decent place to sleep or do anything I need to do ) he didn’t offer to cover any of the expenses. He stated that the price was too high($400), well if so maybe help out in some way at all. He said that the expensive warranty I purchased didn’t cover basic maintenance, which again calls into question how the inspection didn’t find it? Now initially when I met the man he seemed decent and I really hoped that he would’ve been kind of enough to help a 20 year old college student who works and doesn’t have the means to be spending money on repairs a month after I buy a car. Whoever read this I hope I save you some trouble, time, and money. Especially so if you’re a college student or a parent.

This was the first time buying a car by myself. Billy and Michele Savino of Coast Motors made the purchase understandable and seamless. I went there to rent a pickup truck from their U-haul operation. The business is family-owned and they are wonderful. Very pleasant couple who provide quick efficient service. The business is mainly a used car sales operation and there is a service garage on the premises but I don't know that they provide garage services to the general public. In any event, if I were in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, I would certainly consider them based on my experience.

I purchased a vehicle through Coast Motors a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with my experience. I was very stressed and anxious going into this because I have never bought a car before. Coast Motors was incredibly professional and helpful. They did a great job of explaining everything to me and helping me through the whole process. Billy is honest and wants the best for you. They did not have my truck ready as was guaranteed at the main Uhaul location on Market St. The man acted like it was my fault that he had forgotten to reserve my truck. He did refer me to Coast Motors where they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The man even called the main office to recommend they give me some type of discount for how the main office treated me.
