After living in Wilmington since 2020, I finally brought my 7-year-old to the museum today. It's great! We were there for several hours and it kept us both entertained. It was so hands-on for the kids, too. I highly recommend it!

Wasn’t sure what to expect from outside but took my kids and we really enjoyed this place! Neat museum and price is reasonable!
Cape Fear Museum collects, preserves and interprets objects relating to the history, science, and cultures of the Lower Cape Fear. The Museum makes those objects and their interpretation available to the public through educational exhibitions and programs.
