DO NOT RENT WITH BUDGET!!!I rented a car for 5 days for roughly $500. 3 days after the fact my credit card was charged an additional $2,500. I called and they advised me that the car was not returned for 12 additional days. After hours of back and forth they agreed to refund. 2 weeks later no refund has been processed and interest charged to the credit card. Called them again and it is apparently under investigation. I asked them to refund the purchase, they said its in queue. I asked them to refund the interest charge, they said they can't. No I have to wait 2 days for a supervisor to call me to dispute the charges which will probably take another 30 minutes. Additionally, we didn't get the agreed upon car that we rented. Just rent with national. Never rent from budget!

It took an hour and three trips back into the terminal to leave with a a clean car, full tank, and phone charger that worked. The beverage cups in the first two cars were filled with sticky liquids and the seats were soiled, both in the front and back. The third car (SUV Chevrolet )was free of any problems. We are frequent customers at the ILM airport and this never experienced anything like this before.

I've rented from here before, and was here for an hour because her computer kept crashing, and after a very frustrating hour I got my car rental. This time NOT EVEN A FULL MONTH LATER their policy changes apparently, and I'm told I can't even get a rental. And that slow bitch that sits next to Budget probably in front of Avis needs to learn when to shut her mouth and stay on her side. If I'm speaking to 1 person, I don't need her leaning in coming into my discussion. This is an AWFUL car renting place, and that slow bitch along with the old lady with the white hair need to be fired. They have no idea what they're doing, it's always an issue of some sort. And clearly, from other reviews, I'm not the only one with this issue with them.

The experience was awful. I paid for a premium SUV. They show Lexus and Jaguar or equivalent. What I received was a 2019 Cadillac with 55,000 miles that was dirty and inside and out with a cracked windshield and many dents. It was embarrassing to drive and not what I paid for. When I expressed my disappointment I was told “Sorry you will receive an email receipt” they just don’t care.

Budget Car is conveniently located right by the airport exit. That was the only thing convenient about my experience. I waited on line for 30 minutes. The lines were not organized. The agents computer kept crashing. Once I received the keys I was told that the car was in the parking lot but that they did not know what space it was in. This was super annoying because I had to go and search for the car in the scorching heat! I would not use them again.

Never again! Had to refuse 3 cars before they gave me what I ordered. Corporate choses your cars even after choosing what you want and paid for. They give you what they want you to have. I had to walk back to the office at the airport 3 times and walking with a disability is not pleasurable. 1st car was to small of a car for me and family. 2nd car check engine light was on, and 3rd car was wrecked and dented everywhere. Are you kidding me???? That kind of money to rent a filthy, wrecked car? Never again

Reserved a mini-van for a trip (a week before). When I got to the counter, I was told there weren't any vans available and would give me an SUV. I told them I needed a van for the trip. Fortunately, they were able to get one; had to wait 15 minutes for one to be found. However, the van was not cleaned by Budget before they gave me the keys. There was trash and water bottles in the van; very disappointing.

Arrived to pick up my car this morning and was told once I got there that there was no car available and there wouldn’t be in the foreseeable future. I was told I was not contacted previously because they did not have a phone number for the account. Even if they did not have my phone number I received multiple emails regarding my reservation. The people at the desk were rude and extremely unhelpful. Thanks Budget.

do not rent here . They are trying to give us a bmw 3 series when we rented a 7 . Paying the same amount of money . The lady at the counter could not care any less . This is a complete rip off these cars are two different classes and almost 200$ difference .Now they are saying that a bmw 330i is actually a bmw x and charging me for an suv which is a much higher price than a sedan**** update these women need to be fired immediately I just droped the car off in Florida. They reduced our rate by $200 . I don't know what is going on at this location These women have no idea what they're doing

Upon arrival at Budget desk at the ILM airport, I was number two in line. It took one hour and 20 minutes to get my vehicle. Agent stated computer problems. I had signed up for "FastBreak" and the location is listed as a "FastBreak Counter Location", that was even printed on my reservation. Additional issue, the agent reported that the printer was broken and she was unable to provide me with a rental agreement. I expressed my dissatisfaction, she stated it has been broken for a long time. I stated what do I do if involved in an accident and need proof of rental. She said I could call budget if that happens. Well after the already inordinate amount of waiting, and no printer to receive copy of rental agreement, I was forced to leave. I do not recommend Budget at ILM The ILM airport is great, Budget is understaffed and under equipped.

After waiting for over a half hour in line, when I got up to the desk and gave my ID. I was told the van I reserved MONTHS ago was unavailable. I was also traveling with two children and reserved a carseat when I first made the reservation online, which I was told they also did not have. After a long period of time they found a van available but still had no carseat, I HAD to have a carseat in order to travel with my kids. I ended up renting the van and had a friend go out and buy me a carseat before I could even leave the airport. It was a long flight to start with and both kids where ready to leave, the lady behind the counter said that even if I reserve the car and seat online that I may not get it. What's the point of making plans ahead of time??? 0/10 recommend

With 3 people ahead of me at 4pm it took over an hour for me to get my rental. When I returned the car the clerk requested the keys and said they would email me a receipt. I never got a receipt so I try calling the location 5 times, no answer. If you stay on the phone it routes you to some corporate number in which the person is outsourced from overseas. They tell me that I need to call the location I rented from. This company is useless and service is AWFUL. This is the second time I have used them in the last month and both experiences were terrible. Pay the money and rent with Enterprise.

Check in and return were smooth and staff friendly. Our only complaint was that we were given a Camaro. It was difficult to get our mid-70s bodies in and out of a Camaro.

-The car was not cleaned or charged(electric hybrid) - interior was full of sand and wrappers.-Front tires were bald-Back tire was leaked air the whole weekend so we had to fill it.-Vehicle needed an oil change.-Small dents and dings all around the car.It appears the safety of myself, my wife, and our infant are not a concern to budget. I would have loved to swap out our vehicle, but I was told I was getting this vehicle because they didn’t have the vehicle we rented.The second problem is your staff was so slow and unhelpful and just didn’t care it would have taken us another hour to get another vehicle.Because of this we were forced to use a vehicle that no one could had even looked over for a safety inspection for weeks.

The car I rented for personal use had really stained cloth seats, dirty console with food, front bumper and back fender on the passenger side were both damaged. The windshield was so dirty that using the wipers and cleaner did not help. I had an appointment to pick up the car at 9AM but had to wait for keys to be delivered, which is not good when a customer is on a set schedule. It would have been nice if the customer service person had explained the prepaid gas option such as letting you know that it might save a customer money if they just fill up the tank before returning especially if you don't use all of gas. It was the first time I have rented a car in a very long time but next time I will look at other vendors first.
