200 Market St Unit 100, Wilmington“Highly recommend this seemingly small book shop if you're looking for older rarer books and a calm quiet environment! It was such a unique experience for me and almost felt like a dream, you walk in thinking its a teeny tiny book shop but then as you turn the corner you see nothing but books!!! Books on shelves, books on floors, on chairs, tables, and maybe even the ceiling??? I can't recall too well. There where stacks of books, piles of books, books in different languages, very very old books, new books, big and small books, you're absolutely surrounded by books. The cashier lady (who was indeed surrounded by a pile of books, from what i remember) was incredibly kind and easy to talk to and mentioned Alice in Wonderland, which i thought was kinda crazy considering that's my name and she didn't know that, and then she called me, "pretty lady" and i genuinely think i thought about that for the rest of the day. This is probably a little dramatic but i think i found my will to live again in this book store. The book i got was exactly what i was hoping for! There's just something about this book shop out of all book shops I've been to that really sets it apart. :)”
“I love visiting independent bookstores wherever I go, and I am so glad I didn't miss this one. They've got a coffee roasting operation right there in the space, and the curated selection, though not voluminous, is extremely well cared for and well-selected. Thank you for the conversation and kindness. I felt comfortable and welcome in the space (and this counts for a lot!). I will most definitely return.”
“Wonderful place!!! Well kept, good stock, very friendly staff. Shout out to Michael who has always been super nice to me and my husband over the last couple years we’ve interacted with him working there. Awesome employee!!!”
“Love browsing in the bookstore, always so pleasant until it's time to purchase. The sales associate at checkout could be a lot more welcoming, maybe a nice "hello!" On multiple occasions, the same woman, seems to be so unhappy.”

411 N Front St, Wilmington“Was visiting from out of town with my niece who attends CFCC. While she was in class, I explored downtown and walked around the outskirts of the campus. I came across the Sea Devil Store and decided to check it out. A beautiful campus store with lots of CFCC merchandise at reasonable prices. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, helping me find sizes I was looking for. Will definitely be back!”
“Excellent staff and management there. I had to navigate through VA benefits and they had no problem with addressing the issue to ensure I was able to get my books and supplies in a timely manner.”
“beautiful store with such a great selection of books and reader memorabilia! spoke to the owner's sister and she was a sweetheart and so so helpful. will definitely make this a staple for future visits to wilmington!”
