She is very patient and wants to serve my clients in every way possible. I don't always have clients who are ready to purchase homes now but Dell still takes her time & gives them advice on what they could do to own a home. I sent my best friend into the bank to deposit my paycheck since I am disabled. I can sometimes come in but on my bad days I just can’t walk from the pain. I was getting a little cash back and forgot that was going to need me. I want you to know he walked out to check my license to verify me as the account holder! My heart was so touched by this that I will never forget his kindness. The world today is so disconnected and he proves that people do still look at for each other. “It's unfortunate that there was only one other review which is negative. I've been with First Bank for about 18 years. They are always courteous and professional. Heather at the Porter's Neck branch is awesome and Dottie at the Landfall branch is awesome. The 4 out of 5 stars is due to the limitations of a brick and mortar. I have the mobile app but hoenstly these can't do everything. Interest earnings are terrible for local banks. I've been tempted to only do online banking with Capital one or Discover but still want certain services in person that an online bank can't do. I guess occassionally someone could have a bad experience like the other review I read, due to a teller not following nstructions. Crystal N. might have had better luck not waiting until moving day to do all her last minute banking, as planning ahead can help mitigate human error which unfortunately we do still deal with when banking in person at closing hour at our local bank. Overall, if you need a local bank then First bank is a good choice.”
“We have been using this credit union now since 2012 Why since the build of our home new build . No one else wanted to help us when we wanted to back us for our new build back then . We had nothing but cash yes cash in our 401k as to use as collateral for our new build . They used it. We build our new home with no problems and when the 401k came around to draw on we paid our loan off no problems It was a breeze! No mortgage payments Everything went so smoothly They were the easiest place to work with I have ever seen. When 2016 came around for our trip to Italy they offered a black visa that you can use over seas with no extra charges or overseas charges for. I was like holy cow let's do that. We have two cards in our life discover and this one! This people are so nice to work with. Need a notary on hand - just call ahead and make an appointment- no problem! They got it covered! Love this place. And easy online access Easy online check deposit Easy app for the iPad & iPhone Easy paperless statements Easy transfer's This credit union is so much better than a regular bank! And they have a few nice branches now ! Porter necks 17th street branch is nice with the huge coin counter! Leland branch! I am so used to contactless ATM withdrawals and store transactions with the cash back option here in Charlotte. I don’t put any blame on the staff as I am sure that it will be readily available when I visit once again in the near future! The drive through teller was very nice as well!”
