As a photographer, I couldn't recommend Bakery 105 more!! This gorgeous space is right in the heart of Downtown Wilmington and is the most beautiful backdrop for both a wedding ceremony and reception. For wedding day portraits, there are beautiful backdrops both at the venue and within walking distance, which is a dream for a photographer. The space can be customized to fit any couples vision and despite it being right in town, it feels like you are in your own corner of the world while there. 10/10 venue!!

We recently had our wedding at Bakery 105 and would highly recommend!! From the day we booked the team at Bakery 105 was quick to respond and answer any and all questions we had. The week of the wedding, the support was thorough and above and beyond. Katie, our coordinator, was amazing. She exceeded our expectations and truly made it the best day with her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and positivity.

Our wedding was May 25, 2024. Love this venue and especially their staff.They are great. All of them! Very responsive and organized and know what they are doing! Katie was our coordinator and she was the bomb. If you need vendor suggestions or can’t find something you need Kate ALWAYS had great suggestions and advice. I was able to reach her very easily. As the MOB planning, I did not really know what I was doing but she was always so encouraging and helpful. We unfortunately had rain but no panic and flexible options. Also lots of ideas and options for how you want to set up your special day. Highly recommend Bakery 105.

Loved having our June 1st wedding at Bakery 105. Katie was fabulous to work with. Answered so many of my questions, always with grace. We held our ceremony in the courtyard, flipped the space into cocktail hour with passed appetizers. Reception/indoor space is gorgeous! We added a little lighting over the dance floor, but didn’t decorate much more than that. Once the tables were dressed up, it looked stunning. Minimalist bride, but felt chic. Was very grateful for the tables / chairs being provided with the venue. We used 128 south catering as it was most cost effective with their policy. That being said, guests raved about how delicious our food was! We had a buffet, with Caesar salad, beef tips with mushrooms, confit chicken, ravioli, mac and cheese, brussels and green beans. Lastly, I rented the cottage on orange. It was the perfect spot and so convenient! So many of my vendors were familiar with my venue, it made or a breeze. We do not regret choosing Bakery 105 or 128 South catering for the most important day of our lives!

Having Bakery 105 be our reception venue of choice was one of our quickest decisions in the wedding planning process! And if you’re a bride or you went through the planning of a wedding, you know that there are so many decisions to make.
Our guests absolutely LOVED the option of getting to mingle on the courtyard AND dancing the night away inside those beautiful washed brick walls. We had about 85 people in attendance on May 4th, 2024, and the space felt perfect, wasn’t too much space and it didn't feel too closed off. I’m a pretty easy-going, “plain-Jane” kind of person and Bakery 105 molded to my style perfectly – it didn’t need much added, the greenery in the courtyard brought so much color to the space, not to mention it was the perfect backdrop for gorgeous photos, the natural brick went with everything I had planned for table setting, and there were endless options in how to layout the space and Bakery and my planner did a fantastic job.
Reserving the Cottage across the street from Bakery made my morning getting ready with my girls so fun and I loved being so close to the reception venue (and it was close to the church we got married in – double win). It was such a cute space inside, great natural lighting for my hair and makeup artist to do their work, and a cozy area to hang out. It had the best backdrops for photos, the tree just out front made for some pretty spectacular pictures and provided shade when I did all my first looks.
On to the team – WOW. From the initial emails with Jordan and Katie, to the phone calls they hopped on with me, to the team day of – these people did a fantastic job of making me and all of my guests feel like royalty. Each staff member was so kind, they were attentive, and willing to do whatever they needed to in order to make us happy – I literally didn’t have to tell anyone to get me anything they just knew! It was incredible. They were organized, quick to clean up, and I received so many comments about how great the staff was!
If you’re wondering what to do as far as catering, you’re crazy if you don’t go with 128 South. My husband and I had been to an event with their catering before so there was no need to taste test, we knew we’d love it. Everyone was blown away – food is an important part of your wedding day guests will definitely remember that part so I’m glad to know they’ll remember mine! And again with the staff, they made sure my husband and I had our plates first.
10/10 recommend Bakery 105, their location, space, team and heart are all unmatched!!

We highly recommend! Excellent team that took such good care of us throughout the entire 2 year process in planning our wedding! They also provided the food through their catering department at 128 South. The dinner was delicious and they executed everything beautifully and with such kindness. We would do it all over again!

Our wedding at Bakery 105 was absolutely PERFECT! I only have the most amazing things to say and could not thank the entire team at 128 South enough for making sure that we had the absolute best wedding (and rehearsal dinner). Bakery 105 was the perfect venue and my guests are still talking about how beautiful the courtyard and the inside looked. It is the perfect location in Wilmington and is truly such a special place to get married. The entire 128 South team is extremely organized, communicative and professional - both of our days went by seamlessly and better than I could have ever imagined or hoped for. Lauren Corbett was our day of coordinator and she is truly the best of the best. She was SO fun, and always kind and professional. She made every single detail of our wedding perfect and handled a few difficult situations with such grace. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best day, and we could not be more grateful for her expertise and care. The catering team is phenomenal; truly the best food I have ever had at a wedding, hands down. The serving staff and bartenders were also fantastic and took time to make sure that we were fed, had drinks and always taken care of. I am so deeply appreciative for the care that we received leading up to, and especially on the day of our wedding. Best day of our lives!!

Our experience at Bakery 105 for our wedding was perfect. From the moment we chose this venue, we knew we had made the perfect decision.
Firstly, the space is beautiful. From the exposed brick walls to the green courtyard, every corner of the venue was stunning, and it provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding celebrations.
Next, the coordination between Bakery 105 and our wedding planner was seamless. Their team worked hand-in-hand with our planner to ensure that every detail of our special day was executed flawlessly. Their professionalism and willingness to collaborate made the planning process incredibly smooth and stress-free.
In terms of value, Bakery 105 exceeded our expectations. Not only were their prices competitive, but the quality of service and amenities included far surpassed what we could have imagined. We felt that every dollar spent was worth it, and then some.
One of the standout features of Bakery 105 is its ideal location. Situated close to The Cottage Bridal Suite and local bed and breakfasts, it was incredibly convenient for both us and our guests. The proximity to these accommodations added an extra layer of convenience and comfort to our wedding weekend.
The only hiccup we encountered was a minor one - my husband's name was misspelled on the venue welcome sign. However, this small oversight did not detract from the overall experience, and the team at Bakery 105 was quick to rectify the error.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our special day. Bakery 105 exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are grateful to their team for helping to make our wedding dreams a reality.

Choosing to host our wedding ceremony and reception at Bakery 105 was TRULY the best decision we could have made in our wedding planning process (aside from choosing to work with Belle Amè Events - can’t recommend Jennifer and her team enough). The staff at Bakery was an absolute pleasure to work with during the months leading up to our big day. While wedding planning can be super stressful, the Bakery team made all of our decisions so easy. We especially appreciated their help in reminding us of deadlines and payments coming due. Katie and Jordan were our main points of contact throughout the planning process. They handled every email and phone call with the upmost professionalism and kindness. They were always willing to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. We invited 150 guests, but only had around 120 in attendance. This truly felt like the perfect size for the venue, with plenty of space for tables, dancing, and mingling in between. We chose 128 South for our catering (affiliated with Bakery 105) and it was seriously one of the best meals we’ve ever had (check out our review on their page for more details on the food). If you’re considering Bakery 105 for your event, let this be your sign!!! This team and this space helped to create the best day of our entire lives! ?

Our daughter's wedding at Bakery 105 was amazing in every way. The beautiful venue allowed for so much creativity from the floral design, set-up, ceremony, reception, etc to ensure our daughter's wedding day was everything she dreamed of and more! Davis, our coordinator from Bakery, was simply the best. From our first time meeting to the last goodbye after the wedding, Davis guided us thru all of the details of our daughter's magical day. Davis (as well as many others at the office) were available to promptly answer ALL of the many questions and made sure every detail was in place before and during the wedding. The connections the Bakery has with local vendors is fantastic and everyone works together seamlessly. We would highly recommend Bakery 105 for a wedding venue as well as the entire team! Thank you for making our daughter's wedding day amazing in every way!

I filmed a wedding here in December. I had such a blast in this awesome venue. The interior and exterior are spacious + beautiful. The venue has a great backdrop of the Riverwalk and fantastic views at golden hour. The staff is super friendly and helpful.If you are looking for a venue near the water with views + spacious interior/exterior then this is the one. I highly recommend it!
