Aussie Island Surf Shop is one of our favorite shops in Wilmington! They have the highest quality gear and friendly staff. Aussie Island has a great selection of surfboards, beachwear, hats, sunglasses, swimsuits, local merch and more! Definitely stop by!

What an unbelievable experience!!!My brother told me he wanted an Aussie Island t-shirt for his birthday - we grew up going to the Aussie Island surf shop in Topsail, and later in Raleigh. I found the store but they don't have an online ordering portal. Traveling to Wilmington, NC was not in the cards before my brother's birthday, so I emailed the general mailbox and hoped for the best.They responded within a day, talked me through the things they had available, texted me pics of what I was buying, processed my credit card and shipped it to me - ON TIME.For a store that doesn't do online ordering this was so far above and beyond I was blown away. I worked with two different people there and they were both fantastic. Pleasant, customer oriented, and accommodating. I am so impressed. This is truly the small business touch that is missing in so many interactions today.I cannot say enough about how great this shop is - go there now. Buy stuff. You won't be disappointed.

What an awesome group of individuals! Took a snowboard in today to have it waxed before an upcoming trip and from the minute I walked, I was treated with kindness and taken care of. They did a great job of waxing the snowboard and I was given a few tips for when I try to wax my board myself. I would give more stars if I could! Friendly people, great work, and well-deserving of high praise. Thanks y'all!

We showed up looking for a swimsuit for an 83 year old man who loves swimming at the Y. His 80 year old sister had very specific requirements and we were treated kindly and helpfully. She was given an extra discount and was thrilled with the experience. Kindness always wins! Great shop.

Best experience I’ve ever had buying clothes. Didn’t even mean to buy clothes. Price was great and the people were better. Environment more welcoming than grandma’s on Christmas.

Never given a review before, but I felt compelled after the insane customer service I got from Aussie Island.I got a hat there when on vacation that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately my dog did too, and ripped it to shreds. I reached out to these guys on Instagram and not only were they able to sell and ship me a new hat, they gave me a discount and shipped it for free along with some free stickers.Huge props to the whole staff here. Don’t hesitate to give them your business, they deserve it.

Bought shoe board boots and a jacket from Chris a couple years ago for my son great experience. So this year went in to buy a snowboard and Chris couldn’t get the one I wanted because it was in big demand. So he found it on line and told me where to buy it. Class act! So i asked him about the bindings and I ordered the wrong ones when I found out from my son it was the wrong ones I called Chris and told him I ordered the wrong ones he said no problem he would just sell the ones I ordered and get the ones my son wanted. Now that’s customer service! If you need any snowboard or surfing supplies these guys are the best!!!!!!!

Shop opened a little later than expected, but that doesn’t take away from the awesome experience we had here. Say was so great and friendly, we talked a lot about suit measurements and he made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Thanks so much we had a great day!

Love love love this awesome store ❤️❤️❤️ Super nice people who are just so cool & this place has something for anyone who is needing to get cool clothes or wanting skateboards/surfing equipment. Or if you just wanna look like a surfer/skater, then your good here too ? Can’t go wrong when a gorgeous black lab meets you at the door with a wagging tail ❤️❤️❤️
