It’s like pulling teeth to get an appointment. Website says to request one online, did that… then get a text to call… did that. I can never get anyone on the phone. I’ve tried multiple times over the past year to give this place a chance, but I’m giving up and finding elsewhere to take my babies.

This is a GREAT animal hospital & vetinary center. Super clean & efficient! The staff and vets are terrific. I feel very good about taking my 14 year old Black Lab there.

We've been clients of Atlantic Animal Hospital for over a year now, and we want to express how happy we are with everyone. Everybody always goes above and beyond. Our appointments are always nice, smooth, and stress-free. We highly recommend this practice to anyone who's looking for a dedicated team that gives their full attention to your fur babies.

We had our first visit this week for our older dog we suspected had a UTI. We had a great experience with Dr Parrish and the staff and plan on making this our vet clinic for all three of our furry family members.

Had an appointment today for all three of my dogs new patients. The appointment was at 2:30. When I made my appointments I explained to them in the very beginning that one of my dogs was extremely sick and is having surgery next week and was having a hard time breathing. They let us sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes. The only time I was approached was when she asked me about fecal tests or vaccine. I asked her to please check the records to see if my dogs had those tests or shots. When I asked what the Bordetella shot was for I was told it was for respiratory issues and was for dogs that get boarded. None of my dogs have ever been boarded or have gone to any kind of daycare. The lady at the front desk was talking to a couple that were checking out and were discussing how everyone should really get it. One of my dogs is 16 and I think we’ve done ok without it. So I felt like I was being shamed because we chose not to get it. This is not a good feeling when you are looking for a vet to take care of your dogs. No one even apologized for how much time it was taking, never approached us and said sorry we’re running late and when we got up to walk out, she said oh well do you want me to go and check in the back and see if they’re ready for you? I had to pay $65 for each dog just to make the appointment so because we left I lost that money. Definitely not a good fit, please use caution before making an appointment here.

Unfortunately, I am not pleased with how the owner's of this business handled a situation with breeding. They charged me $380 for testing and then, to their own acknowledgement, stated that the vet was out of town the day of the insemination. I was then charged and additional $380 for the same tests 6 months later. VERY poor business decisions. I would not recommend Atlantic Animal Hospital to anyone who loves their pets.

Atlantic Hospital is truly the most loving and totally efficient vet office I have ever been too! Mr. Cheese, our frenchie, has been their patient for 5 years and they have been so awesome with his every need. Our family highly recommends Atlantic Hospital and Pet Resort! The staff is always so loving and makes Mr Cheese feel so loved and special. They always take their time with my many questions and their advice has always worked. Mr. Cheese has had surgery at Atlantic hospital and we felt so comfortable with Dr Rohr as his surgeon. However, all the vets are amazing and have been such a blessing!

Been coming here for years, but unfortunately will not be coming back to this facility and will be seeking care for my dog elsewhere.I live 45 minutes away, called them to tell them I would be a couple minutes late because of Wilmington traffic. Walk in at 11:02 after holding the door for the UPS man and waiting on him to park in their small parking lot. Checked in with front desk lady. Confirmed everything my dog needed and upgraded to get additional blood work as they suggested, purchasing other meds, etc... Sat down after a 6 minute check in process and then was told a few minutes later they have another appointment coming in in 10 minutes that because I was 15 mins late they couldn't see me today. All of the years I have been coming here, my dog is just another number to these people.

I’ve had bad experiences at other vets in Wilmington and was really nervous to try out another. I am SO glad I did. Atlantic Animal Hospital was an amazing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff are very friendly and the vet tech and vet were both super patient, helpful, and kind. Will only be going here from now on!

Horrible experience. Do your research and go elsewhere. Treated like dirt after spending over $1600.00. No refund given after changing the price of services after dropping dog off for surgery and overcharging after the tumor removal, dental cleaning and sealant. Zero compassion. Poor customer service and will never return calls they only respond via email. They just want the money and did nothing to help me after complaining for a week about my bill and how I was overcharged and treated like dirt. Facility increase in fees after being quoted a month ago for surgery and they inform me at 8am the day I showed up to drop my dog off for surgery. Nightmare is how I would describe my entire experience.Check your bill!!!!

We had a wonderful experience here today with our new kitten, Kylo! I found him from an online ad saying someone was giving him away for free. When I took him in, I noticed he had tons of fleas and was really hungry, so I immediately made a vet appointment for him to get checked out ASAP. Atlantic only made us wait a couple of days, even though we had never been here before! The entire staff is so amazing and welcoming. They treated Kylo as though he was their own. Dr. Coffey was very professional and they made everything so easy! She answered all of my questions, since I am a new kitten owner and I don't have a lot of experience with owning one, and was so nice to us. They even sent Kylo home with some free flea prevention. We felt as though their prices were very fair, and we will be bring Kylo back in a few weeks to receive the rest of his kitten vaccines. Thank you to everyone here! You were all amazing to meet and we look forward to bringing our baby here again soon!

I had the worst customer experience with this vet last night . I was going out of town and requested for the vet to fax over my dogs prescription to petsmart for his food so he can eat bc he is so sensitive . They said they would do so . However 40 mins went on as I was still standing in the store waiting for them to fax . I called and talked to Sarah - she said she cannot do it bc I would have to make an appointment for his check up . So ridiculous he has been on this food forever - I finally got her to agree after much back and fourth to set up an appointment but to still send over the prescription so my dog could eat without getting sick . It took another 30 mins for her to get back to tell me I had a no show in 2019? She could not give me any detail about that missed appointment. I have been a loyal customer to them and never missed appointment. I paid to move on and get the food - they kept saying they sent it over . Never sent it over then claimed they had the wrong number . They were completely immature unprofessional and rude !! Sarah and “Heather the manager “ are going to lose a lot of customers if they act like that on a daily basis ! Horrible - I will no longer be a customer there .
