Incredible gardens. Amazing trees that are hundreds of years old. Thousands of flowers. Many bird species around the lake. A must visit while in town!

We are lucky to have a variety of beautiful parks in Wilmington. Airlie Gardens is no exception to the "wonderful parks" rule and they keep this place nice. Enchanted Airlie is a wonderful family event at Christmas time, but make sure to keep an eye out for when the tickets become available! They tend to sell out within the first hour or two once they're posted online. This is also a great place to go year round, and most of the times you can enjoy a relatively quiet and peaceful day at Airlie. Admission is free, come check it out!

Beautiful, small but well curated botanical garden. Lots of interesting plants and birds.

Absolutely beautiful. Pictures really do not capture how stunning it is in person. 30-50 min walk depending on pace.

Enchanted Airlie is a great family outing. The trees and grounds of Airlie Gardens are glittering with millions of decorative lights in a holiday theme.Tickets are sold out but watch for next year's promo around early November. Truly enchanting!

TLDR: Jodi Rich is a terrible manager who is rude to guests and discriminatory to the disabled. We come for the Christmas lights every year. As it was closing, this totally hostile and abrasive staff member came to tell us to leave. She started out on a really rude naggy bi*chy voice. She immediately started out like that when telling us to head to the parking lot. I have two members of my family who are disabled and can't walk super fast. She was super over the top and needed to take it down several notches. We overhead this is the manager! Her name is Jodi Rich. I hope she sees this and hears how out of line, discriminatory, and over the top she was. Her official title is guest services member.Arlie Gardens fell from grace years ago, and this just goes to show. Their old head team was much better, and the rot is apparent. This is a clear endorsement of discrimination. You can't treat disabled people like that. My mom just had a surgery. You either are or aren't supporting diasbled. When you have a despicable, rude jaded woman like this in charge discriminating it sends a message. This disgusting disgraceful woman doesn't deserve to be in any power here she has no people skills. She should be mandated for therapy she clearly has some trouble. We have to pay to be there and get treated poorly. She went around to others and was very argumentative with her bi*chy southern bell grading voice. She was even being extra abrasive towards the minoritiy guests.

I will never buy a membership here again! I did everything they said to buy tickets (I’m a member). I received their emails and their links and it didn’t work on Nov. 1st. It worked fine when I bought a car load on my advanced membership day. I tried to call their service number and nothing. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. This is a racketeering scam. It’s completely bizarre whomever makes this only available to the “elites”.

Visited today Oct 31st best to go in spring I suppose, we paid 20 bucks to walk in a park. The trees were nice and the chapel. There were no butterflies in the indoor garden. I give it 3 stars for the trees/history. Otherwise it would be 1 star. I bet in sprung it's worth it.

This was exactly what my partner and I needed for some relaxation and connection outside of the hustle and bustle of Wilmington. Highly recommend visiting!
