Unlike our local store, they had no issue with my slow meandering about the isles. This allowed me to look at not only all the rebranding of products, but also their local barrel picks of Angels Envy and something else that slipped my mind at the moment. Nice size and options even though the employee recommended the main Wrightsville beach location as being "nicer."

Store associates are extremely rude. We were accosted immediately upon walking in because we "don't look 21." The youngest of us is 23 and the oldest is 30... They rudely required all 7 of us to show our IDs even though only 2 we're buying seltzers. Didn't see this happen to anyone else who came in the store with friends??? Also don't bother going here if you're friends with anyone from Canada because they won't let anyone in your party purchase anything, regardless of whether we are of age. I have purchased alcohol from another ABC store with my Canadian friend and never had any trouble. I understand the law and store policy but the female store associate was clearly looking for a reason not to serve us. Ridiculous

It's a state run liquor store. They've got enough, but it is so missing choices and varieties. Totally misses the mark for a neighborhood liquor store.
