BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE:Normally, I am not one to hatch out my grievances on the book. But honey, this is one that had to to posted to make sure businesses understand it is unacceptable to do a shabby job and expect people to continue to patronize your establishment. This is one that need to be shared and reposted until the nail shop in the strip in Williamston NC where the Catos, Dollar Tree, and US Cellular are located understand t he meaning of quality service. If you still don't know the location, it is across from the Walmart. Now that the location has been pinpointed, let me share my grievance with you. See it is not everyday that I decide to do a little something extra to make a gal feel pretty. For me, it is the lashes. I didn't need anything fancy or full of fluff. My lashes are very thin since they did not completely return after my cancer treatment in 2015. I just wanted something natural looking. So I went to Nails-09 in Williamston people. I got me some lashes y'all. I snapped a few selfies, stopped downtown and visited a local thrift shop, then I headed home to Windsor. Within minutes of arriving home, I realized the lash that was on the right eye was becoming detached. I called the salon and I was instructed to return to Williamston for a repair. Upon my arrival, I was instructed to go to the chair and sit. Soon the technician came over and dropped a few drops of glue on the detached portion of the lash. She stated I should not touch them. I replied, I had not touched them at all. I held the fan for a while and let them dry. Then I was on my way. The evening went by without a hitch and I went to bed some time after 12 am.Morning soon reard its head and I began to prepare to get dressed for work. But my lashes did not feel the same. When I looked in the mirror, I could see that the very same lash that had been reattached was now loose again and the other end was following suit. It was picture day, do I put on my glasses to help conceal the fact that my lash was coming off after being repaired less than 6 hours earlier or take them both off? It was picture day, so I wore the glasses. And once again, I called the salon after school. This time a male technician replied you can not touch them. You are washing them too much. I said sir, I patted around my eye area to make sure they did not become saturated with water. Plus, I did not even apply any eyeshadow or make-up to the area. Again he claimed I had been too ruff on them. Then in haste, he hung up the phone. Ferious at his response, I called him back and asked him did he just hang up on a customer that had a problem with his services. I explained that this is not how we do business in America and that he needed to repair the lash. He then asked me to pay him 10.00 to replace the whole lash or give him 5.00 to put a couple of drops of glue on each end. Seeing that I was not getting anywhere with this dude, I told him, I would not repay him and keep driving from Windsor to Williamston for his bad services. He was angered and stated his wife has had some and she was too ruff with them so they did not stay on. People, I did what you do when to go to sleep. I went to sleep and that was all. When, I said I would have to post about his services at the nail shop, I was told to go ahead, he'd did not care. So why the post? Because this practice is not acceptable. Do not patronize this business! Tell your friends and share this post if you must, to make sure people send this establishment the message that you must provide decent services and stand behind your work if you want to continue to be in business in America. Some people will only do better when they feel the burn in their pockets. There are other businesses to get your nails, pedicures and facial treatments that will appreciate your hard earned money and know the value of treating their customers properly. So, again I say; please do not patronize Nails-09 in Williamston North Carolina.

My second trip in. My first experience was wonderful, I was absolutely thrilled with my pedicure and the gentleman who did it. He was very attentive and listened when I asked for extra work on my calluses. I am disabled and walk with a pronounced limp, so I tend to get very thick calluses on odd places of my feet that can become very painful. My second visit was a nightmare. The gentleman acted as if I was a bother. I asked 3 times for additional work on my calluses and was ignored. He spent much of the time checking his phone and barking at me"up, down, up, down". His massage was perfunctory and painful. I wish I had gotten the first gentleman's name, I'm not sure if I want to risk regular visits. I really thought I'd found a great place to visit, now I'm not sure.Service: Pedicure

My mom and I came here because they have the best reviews in the area. Well, I hope others see this review because it was an awful experience. The chair massager didn’t work hardly at all and it kept getting stuck and was poking into my back. Our pedicures lasted around 20 minutes. The woman didn’t massage my mom’s legs at all, and the guy I had was a very aggressive massager. They used the metal graters, which I thought were made illegal in salons. Either way, he used it on my dry foot. They don’t use the bags in the foot tubs, and barely washed them afterward. We then got manicures. My manicure lasted maybe 10 minutes tops. He didn’t file my nails or anything. Some of my cuticles are done and some are not. My mom’s manicure was less than a manicure. Her cuticles were not cut and the woman was extremely slow. We will not be returning and do not recommend if you are wanting a relaxing and decent pedicure or manicure.Services: Manicures

Short waiting time in Williamstown NC. For $45 dollars I had a beautiful french pedicure, leg and back massage. Worth the drive. I was a walk in on a Friday afternoon.

Not the same salon anymore. This was THE go-to Nail salon in Williamston when owned by Anne, the previous owner. Now all the nail technicians are sub-par and getting your nails done shouldn’t hurt nor should they all be different shapes & sizes.

Everyone in there was extremely nice not only were the workers so kind and friendly so we’re the other people in the salon this is what makes it so hard for me to leave this review. Even though everyone was extremely nice the work that they did was not done well. When I walked in a had to wait over 20 minutes just to be asked what I needed done and this I understand that they are busy and can’t get to everyone right away but once I was helped they rushed the entire time which I wouldn’t have had a problem with if he didn’t cut me multiple times and wipe the blood off of my fingers onto my shirt. They couldn’t do what I asked for even though what I asked for was not anything difficult, it was just simply an hombre set with a sparkle on the middle finger and a foot drawn on the accent nail. I understand that not everyone is able to do these types of things but this is where I got extremely frustrated when I went up to the counter to pay they told me it was $75 I understand it is not cheap to get the products and it takes time to do the job but when there were multiple things I asked for that they weren’t able to do and multiple things that I said it’s okay just don’t do it and they didn’t have the decency to take some money off. Not to mention the fact that there price says $30 and up for a full set where did the other $40 come from?? When I asked abt it they just said that’s our prices. I wouldn’t recommend this spot they did give me a nice set it just simply wasn’t what I asked for and was very overpriced for the job they did.Service: Acrylic nails
