Terrible experience at the drive-thru window with Pharmacy Manager. I’ve been a customer for years but today I was told that he wouldn’t refill my prescription because it wasn’t lucrative and it was being saved for his “regular” customers. Consider doing business elsewhere!

I’m on vacation from Vermont and the pharmacist went above and beyond to help me with a refill my own pharmacy gave me trouble with! Exceptional service, friendly people—I wish I could switch to this pharmacy! Absolutely the best pharmacy I’ve been to in years, and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful experience during my visit to Wilkesboro. I got purchased some supplements and pain gel. People work there are good and always grit you with smiling.

Normally when I visit Wilkes Family Pharmacy I am greeted with a smile and genuine care. This morning however, I had such a horrible experience at the drive thru. The lady who was working the window was very rude and not at all friendly! She acted as if she hated her job and as if it was a bother for her to have to help. I have never dealt with her before so I’m not sure if she was new. I did not get her name but she wore glasses and has short blondish hair, older lady. I hope in the future I do not have to deal with her and if so I will probably request someone else to help me. I hope it was just a rare occasion or maybe she was just having a bad day. I’ve never had an issue with anyone else at Wilkes Family Pharmacy and everyone else is so polite and caring.

I have been patronizing WFP since it opened many years ago. It has always been a very good pharmacy. Recently new ownership/management has taken over and up'd their game even more. Pleasant staff, courteous service and clean store. The pharmacist is willing to answer any questions you may have. My husband has a hard time swallowing larger tablets and he offered to compound his medications in order for him to take them without the fear of choking. They are always striving to make an ordinary trip to the pharmacy feel like a visit with "family"!

The staff really makes the difference at this pharmacy. They truly treat you like a family member and watch out for your prescriptions, copay, and overall satisfaction with your visits to the pharmacy. Plus, the cash prices on medications can't be beat by any other local pharmacy.
