I’ve never paid more for internet, and never had worse service. Our internet cuts out at least once per day for no apparent reason. Sometimes a simple reset does not work. We had a couple of technicians come by and replace the router but the problems did not go away, and they were rather rude. Every time we call for help, the help is not there. We will be switching to any other provider as soon as possible.Edit: we finally got someone out to check it out and they seem to have figure out what the issue was. However, we are still experiencing the issues just on a smaller scale. It’s extremely frustrating because this company charges twice as much as their competitors and it’s the worst internet service we’ve ever had. I’ve never seen a single company have so many outages.Their customer service is also a joke. We put in countless tickets and it turns out it’s a third party company who was just closing out the service request tickets immediately after our phone calls and without ever notifying Wilkes Comm.

Their service department is absolutely horrible, they come out to fix your Internet, and it still doesn't work. They give you a new password, and the new password does not work. They think they have banker hours of 9-to-5. You can get no after hours service whatsoever. If there was another option, I would use it, if you have an option do not go with Wilkes.

I am give 2stars only because the people that are in the local Gretna office are very nice , but as far as the service itself very poor. We over pay each month for internet service which is very slow they know that they are the only provider that is in the area so they can gouge you deep and when it’s down they don’t care as long as your payment is made on time . I call them every month because our service is out , but they seem to not be able to find anything wrongToday Sunday it’s been out all dayWe work from home and our kids are home schooled but no InternetAnd in order to get any faster service I need to install a land line. We have 5 cell phones I don’t need a house phone just trying to get more money. The pole is on my property if I don’t get internet then I want rent for your pole.If you can get internet somewhere else then I would.

Good,quality,service. A company that has been around for years serving the rural community the name may have changed through the years,but not the impressive service.

Wilkes Communications is the worst I have ever seen and I have lived in many states from Texas to Florida. Their tech support is a joke. It is really a joke but the joke is on the customer (me). I pay this company $1,145.00 per year for a service and when it is not working (the internet) their tech support don’t have a clue and can’t give any answers. They are not even in the same state. Stay away from this company if at all possible.

Unreliable internet … never gets the full service, always cuts in and out, when you call they make you reset over and over which we already did before we called then make you wait days until tech can come out… and they switch name to Riverstreet … terrible terrible service!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Will not answer the phone. Trying to pay my bill and Boone will answer. They would cut my service in a minute for nonpayment. Very disappointed in a member owned corp.

We’ve had our service with them going on 5 years and we’ve never had a single problem. Everyone is very courteous with any questions or concerns we’ve had. Best company I’ve found around here hands down!

Its all a scam! They'll over charge you if you don't have a credit card but will tell you it's ok, then make you pay double in cash. They don't allow you to split payments between cash and card even though they said you can

They never answer the phone. Can’t get through to anyone in any department after 3-4pm they close at 6pm and then they don’t have a 24hr customer service line for reconnection or payments to be made over the phone.

I just want to pay my bill. OMG!!!!!! I’m still on hold 12 minutes !!!!!!! Been going through this since it switch over. Use to be able to call and whoever answered the phone knew who you were, most times i didnt even have say my name, they just knew my voice. Internet randomly goes off, no other service here in Pantego oh well i guess i must tolerate.

i had service for 10 years with wilke communications kind a pricy but great internet tv and phone they were a very fair company to do business with the internet worked great all the time even in bad weather i moved and now have a dish provider internet it's just HORRIBLE
