“Had a wonderful family day picking apples at Perry Lowe Orchards in Moravian Falls. Perfect weather, so many apple varieties, lots of stuff to entertain kids, etc.Not only are they affordable, but it's set up as a great family oriented experience. We saw so many different varieties of families from friends & couples, to multi-generational families like ours. The young people who work here were patient and kind to all. The store by the orchard was spotless with two restrooms inside and two port-a-potties outside.Besides picking apples, they had a slide and play area for kids ($5 wristband, unlimited), a little trolley painted like bumblebees, and an apple cannon.The store had packaged mixes, local honey, and different varieties of cider. Their freshly made apple cider donuts and apple fritters were delicious but the warm apple cider (not pictured) warmed my soul and body.Definitely on the calendar for all of us to return next year!”
