• The coolest course I've ever played, no exaggeration. Views can't be beat.We came during mid fall for a trip with the guys, so arguably best time of year as the leaves turn colors. The views were genuinely spectacular. The nicest and coolest course I've played so far in my life. The morning started off extremely rainy and we didn't think we were going to be able to play at all.But rain and clouds gave way to mist and lifting fog revealed the views that everyone will remember for a long time.We planned our whole trip around this place and it did not disappoint!!

Sequoyah National was top notch. I’ve played some great courses in my life including TPC courses and this place outpaced them! Was truly blown away at the condition of the fairways and greens. Greens rolled so true even with unrepaired ballmarks(not the courses fault). The views of the mountains make this so much more enjoyable. Service was great even with the frost delay they had a fire pit lit and kept adding wood to it. Starter was very friendly. If you’re in the area this place is totally worth the money! Spectacular views, lush and nearly perfect fairways and tee boxes, I had a terrific time with an old college friend. Fun par 3 holes, challenging par 5s...scoring depends on the par 4s. The only negative is the greens were in poor shape. Not because of maintenance or the grass type, but because golfers had not repaired their ball marks. This was not limited to one or two holes but was prevalent on every green. My playing partners and I were all shocked that such a beautiful course was hindered by this.

Course was absolutely unbelievable. If you are looking legitimate mountainous view golf in or near Asheville, this is your spot. Course condition was great. Played near the end of October, the weather and foliage could not have been any better. The service was just as good. Could not have asked for a better experience and my expectations were blown out of the water.

Wow!! That is really all that can be said about this course. I have played in many places around the world and although I am no Tiger Woods, I both appreciate and acknowledge a beautifully designed course.Maintenance is constant to keep the plush carpet fairways and fine greens in perfect shape. You will be forced to take pics at every hole as each is more beautiful than the previous. The designer truly created art out of a wooded mountain side. Bravo

Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! I rode while my husband played, it was freaking hot but so worth the sweating! Oh he said it was a very tough course, infact we are going back next month so he can play it again. His buddy told him that's the way to get better, playing a challenging course.

Greatest mountain course I've played.From.tee to green course conditions are as good as any PGA course I've played which includes Sawgrass, Pinehurst, Summerlin, Scottsdale..several more.Absolutely mountain layout. Hills, elevation changes, undulating greens...pure mountain. What makes this place so great is that in addition to the artificial turf like fairways 14 of the 18 holes can be a signature hole on any course.Moles of views from every tee box. They even put Cherokee tale markers on each hole to help preserve some.of the Cherokee folk tales.Tent Jones got this design perfect. Eleclvsted tees to greens below. Several tees are a good 100+ foot drop to fairway. On top of that ifnyou play your right tees then the yardage layout is perfect for the dogleg.Qith all that said...thenprp shop is severely lacking. Look past that. Go to the range and immediately you'll know they spend money on the course, not the pro shop.

Beautiful course! The carts are a little old and struggle on the incline at times, but no biggie. The view is worth it all!

THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!!!! I've played mountain golf courses all over this great country and this ranks up there among the best... Sick layout, fairways were absolutely perfect!! Along with the medium sized, very undulated greens and then the bunkers, the sand was perfect ( they received quite a bit of rain previous to us playing a 2 day tournament ). Staff was friendly from the grounds crew to the pro shop staff.... I'll be back baby!!! Yes I absolutely suggest visiting this absolute gem!!!!!

One of the best courses I've ever played! It was in fantastic shape, the hospitality was awesome, the views were unbelievable, and the course was fun and challenging. It's a little pricey, but I would definitely do it again!

Disappointed to say the least! Booked tee time and when I told them my wife would be riding with me they said she can't! Without saying a word to me about this they had paired me up with another golfer! Not enough carts! In 52 years of playing golf all over the east coast that was a new one on me! I wanted time with my wife enjoying a special round of golf on this wonderful course but you tell your wife she can't go! Hey honey I have to go play with a complete stranger and you need to go find something to do for about 5 hours!!!

What's up everyone, it's dad here, and I went golfing at Sequoya Country Club today, and as I stepped foot onto the lush green fairways, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This beautiful course, nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, is a true gem of the golfing world. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the impeccable condition of the course. The fairways were pristine, the greens were fast and true, and the bunkers were perfectly maintained. It was clear that the staff at Sequoya Country Club take great pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the course. But it's not just the course itself that makes Sequoya Country Club such a special place. The clubhouse is equally impressive, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff are friendly and attentive, always on hand to offer tips and advice to help you get the most out of your round. And what a round it is. The course at Sequoya Country Club is a true test of golfing skill, with challenging holes that will push even the most experienced players to their limits. The par-3s, in particular, are a highlight of the course, with stunning views and tricky greens that demand accuracy and precision. One of the things I loved most about playing at Sequoya Country Club was the variety of holes on offer. From the tight, tree-lined fairways of the front nine to the wide-open vistas of the back nine, there's something here to suit every playing style. With multiple tees on each hole, golfers of all abilities can enjoy a challenging but fair round. But perhaps what impressed me most about Sequoya Country Club was the attention to detail that went into every aspect of the course. From the well-placed bunkers and hazards to the perfectly manicured rough, every feature of the course has been carefully considered to create a truly world-class golfing experience.Overall, I would highly recommend Sequoya Country Club to any golfer looking for a challenging and rewarding round in a stunning setting. The course is beautifully maintained, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is second to none. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner just starting out, this is a course that will test and inspire you in equal measure. So if you're ever in Franklin, NC, be sure to make a tee time at Sequoya Country Club – you won't be disappointed.
