rented a storage facility from Frontier Storage over 20 years ago when I first moved to NC. I can't remember anything negative about that experience whatsoever. I'm fact, just recently I had to help my son move his belongings from college to a storage facility. When I knew we were going to need a place to store his furniture and larger belongings, I called Frontier storage. Let me put it this way, nothing in my previous experience stood out as negative that caused me to have any reservations about doing business with them again.

I rented a storage facility from Frontier Storage over 20 years ago when I first moved to NC. I can't remember anything negative about that experience whatsoever. I'm fact, just recently I had to help my son move his belongings from college to a storage facility. When I knew we were going to need a place to store his furniture and larger belongings, I called Frontier storage. Let me put it this way, nothing in my previous experience stood out as negative that caused me to have any reservations about doing business with them again. That being said, I called to inquire about a storage unit and spoke with Wanda Farley, who I assume to be one of the owners. She was extremely helpful with the selection of the appropriate size storage unit for my needs. She expedited the process by having the paperwork ready to go when I arrived at the office. Once there, I found her to be a very kind and friendly person who took the time to patiently and thoroughly explain the paperwork, the due date for rent, the two drop box locations for after hours payments, etc. Once I arrived at the unit, I was completely floored by how clean it was. My last storage rental was in NH and it was definitely a spiderwebbed nightmare! My unit at Frontier was immaculate - so much so that I called Wanda right back after having left her office only minutes ago to tell her how impressed I was with the cleanliness and upkeep of the unit. The floors were clean, the walls were clean...even the ceiling was clean! I could not even find one cobweb in this unit! The condition of the property was neat and well maintained, too. I knew there was a reason Frontier was the first choice that came to mind when I needed help with extra storage. After meeting Wanda and checking out my storage unit, I'm so glad I trusted them with my business again. Wanda was quick to tell me that the gates around the units are closed at dusk and opened up again at dawn, 7!days a week. As I drive by the building every day on my way to and from work, I can attest to that. If you are a local to Cherokee, Sylva, Dillsboro, Whittier or Bryson City, and you find the need of a storage unit, Wanda is a friendly, dependable businesswoman who knows the value of customer service.

Affordable storage units, this is a very small crew that runs it and does a good job. The units are secured behind fencing which is locked after nightfall for added security. I've been with them for 4 years, never had any issues with them.

Receptionist is very rude. And not helpful. Difficult to make payments because of short business hours. Would be better if different payment options were available. I also got the vibe the receptionist is racial to non Caucasian's. I wouldn't recommend this place. Because the lady that does the paper work isn't friendly by any means. I was trying to speak with her over the phone and she was very rude. If your reading this and looking for a storage unit take your business else where! I'll probably move to find a better place. Some where with more respect for other and more respectful to costumers. Thank you!
