Since last time the service wasn’t that friendly. I wasn’t really disappointed in the same unfriendly not helpful possibly short staffed Monday morning employees. Maybe another day Walgreens will exude with good customer service

The Walgreens pharmacy In Whiteville, NC has gone down hill rapidly. My husbands PCP called in a new prescription for testosterone as his last had expired in Dec. I waited a few days knowing that they are consistently short staffed before I called to make sure the item was ready for pickup. I was then told that it was not ready for pickup & that they couldn't fill it (controlled) because another script of the same thing was at a different pharmacy (yet they couldn't tell me where) being filled. Humm Really? I called his PCP whom looked up where/when the script was sent & informed me that they were incorrect. She even went a step further & called Walgreens to clear this issue up. She was told the exact same thing I was. The next day I got on the phone with BCBSNC and explained the situation to them. They looked up the claim and could only see 1 prescription & it was with Walgreens in Whiteville. I was put on hold so that they could call the pharmacy directly & have this issue resolved. The BCBSNC representative then told me she got everything cleared up & the prescription would be getting filled immediately. A few minutes later I get a text from the Walgreens app saying the prescription was being filled. Fast Forward & I get another text saying delayed so I called them. I get a pharmacy tech that's looking into things & comes back and tells me that she had to override the issue! I told her that our insurance company had already called & cleared this issue up with the actual Pharmacist earlier and her reply was, "No they didn't!" Really? What I should have received was an apology for the "error" that was made that delayed this script from being filled for close to a week but instead I get an arrogant tech that thinks she saved the day! Do yourself a favor and choose one of the other 25 or so pharmacies in town to get your prescriptions filled at because this one SUCKS!

Only giving 1 star to leave a review. I can't say much about the store itself, but the pharmacy in Whiteville, NC is a Joke. I wouldn't get my enemies medicine filled here. They are slow, even picking up meds that should/are already done. Your Doctor can call in two medications at the same time and they will fill one but not the other, and then when you return in and hour and a half you still have to wait on the second. Even though they tell you they'll (2) be ready in 45 minutes. So unless you just have hours to spend waiting, you better go elsewhere.!!

Terrible experience at the pharmacy. Never again. They had an antibiotic on back order for days and didn’t bother to tell us anything. We could have just went somewhere else instead we get to go without for days because they fail to let us know anything. This was also for my toddler. They care more about keeping the order and getting the money for it than anything. If I could give 0 stars I would

My son has pink eye so I came to have his prescription transferred came back 30mins & they haven’t even put in the transfer to get the his prescription and asked me to wait an additional 45+ to get his prescription after l told them I don’t live in Whiteville and I have 2 kids under the age of 2 in my car that’s not gonna wait that long wen I came in time so they don’t have To wait

If you call Walgreens whiteville number why am I getting the online office putting my request late or never put in...then the people inside store know nothing about your pickup or prescription

Literally said “didn’t have enough staff to put effort into my child’s antibiotic” Imagine telling someone that. Even if short staffed, that’s not how you handle the problem. Do better.

Tried to get assistance for my dad and asked the girl at photo for help. She gets a attitude before she even comes over. She walked off before the issue is solved. Then proceeded to tell me it's a self service kiosk that she's not supposed to stand over us and do it for us. Um if you need help they are supposed to help you.

A few weeks ago I had a terrible experience of talking with a pharmacist concerning my mom being told that because her medicine had been returned to the shelf she couldn't get it refilled, this was told to her by someone else in the pharmacy. The pharmacist I spoke with that Saturday morning was so rude & short talking to me, he stated he go to different locations and he don't have anything to do with what someone else did , what do I want him to do. I proceeded to tell him I'm calling to see about my mother meds she hasn't had in over a week and someone could of made a call to her , he said she can't text ? I said no she's in her 80's she don't text so I gave my number after he was still rude & I told him you know what you are mighty short this morning talking to me,he then says I'll get the prescription filled .No apology at all from him. Shame on you Whiteville NC Walgreens pharmacist.

I ordered 40 Personalized Christmas cards 5 x7. Two weeks later when I went to address the cards, I only had 20 envelopes. I went back to the store with my receipt and was told "You should have checked your order before you left, how do we know if you are not trying to just get extra envelopes". I even offered to pay for them, to let her know that I needed them. Nope!!! I'm furious, no where in town has 5 x 7 envelopes! Walgreens should have checked my order or ask me to count the envelopes when I purchased them. Lesson learned, don't trust Walgreens!!!

The pharmacy staff couldn't keep a McDonald's drive thru running efficiently they are the slowest place I have ever been to .every last one of them are over their head.
