“I initially experienced difficulty trying to set up an account at this bank - but once I was able to sit down with an employee and get it sorted through - it was easy, and the staff are friendly. Access to teller services 7am-7pm is appreciated.”
“I am confused by the negative review by Alan S. He drives an hour from Roanoke Rapids to deposit a check, when: 1. There is a Wells Fargo branch in Roanoke Rapids. 2. Wells Fargo offers a convenient deposit by phone option that involves merely taking a picture of the front and the back of the check. I've used the feature many times to avoid the necessity of taking checks to the bank both for business and personal use. P.S. I do not have reason to use the drop box at this location, but I believe that our church does so and they are provided with a key to the drop box. The reason for that practice is that some people think it is "fun" to stuff overnight drop boxes with trash as a prank. As I noted above, you can always deposit checks by phone or through the 24 hour teller, if it is not a large number. Regardless, I am certain that someone in the branch would be happy to work with you on the situation. As for this branch and the bank, I am very happy with the personal service that I receive each time that I go into the branch office, which is at least a couple of times a month. I am greeted at the door, tellers are happy and helpful, and the products and services are affordable and appropriate to my needs. Now, if I could just find more money to deposit. :-)”
“Had to make a quick stop inside the PNC on Sunset Ave in Rocky Mount and the entire staff were friendly, smiling, courteous , concerned and patient with each customer. It was a pleasure to just observe the atmosphere. Keep up the great work ladies. It didn't go unnoticed.”
“Thought I'd leave a review since the only review here is negative. I switched to Wells Fargo from bb&t and woodforest and that was the best decision ever! This location specifically is always prompt, fast, friendly, and helpful. Been coming here for two almost three years. Accidentally left $40 in the ATM I thought I would just have to take the loss but this location is so secure they credited the money back to my account without me even contacting them! Very grateful and the atms are always working and taking deposits.”
“I love the customer service. Once you walk in. Someone greets you everytime and while you're doing your transaction each teller is very helpful assisting. However, the wait time is sometimes a little excessive. I'm still new to the area so it may just be the traffic in the city so thats one thing to take into consideration. I do recomend their services. Great bank for credit building too.”

I would come to First Carolina to cash my check and deposit in my PNC Account this is where my reoccurring bills come out. Since the ladies are so KIND here I decided to open an account with First Carolina Bank.
