Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful old country store building, clean and well kept, well stocked grocery necessary items, good gas and diesel, remarkably good selection of hardware and home repair items. Also have hot food for take out. Clean bathrooms. Great place and people. On Hwy 88 just up the hill from Buffalo Road in Smethport, the Jewel of Ashe County, NC.

Great store, neat & orderly, unique & hard to find items, good selection of the most commonly needed groceries, reasonable prices, clean deli & store, good selection of feed for your favorite animals (except pandas), clean gasoline, cold drinks, hot pizza, and the nicest and friendliest people you're ever going to meet. (It'll help if you're friendly, too.) Convenient and well lit, good parking, pretty country store and mountain setting, with traditional Ashe County decor. Miller's Country Store is well worth your time. (PMM)
