Owners Michael & Joan Bell have carefully hand-picked local crafts and other fascinating pieces each year since opening the shop in 1982.
Joanie Bell is the manager of the crafts shop, which features folk arts and crafts from various cultures, from the southern Appalachians to Guatemala. Thousands of items in all price ranges include wonderful wooden boxes, art cards, toys, jewelry, sculpture, canes, stained glass and much more.
Michael Bell keeps the book section well-stocked with a good back list of field an travel guides, children’s classics, and fiction by or about local people.
