Been going there for nearly 40 years. Always friendly & a good selection of stuff for a convenience store & a good selection of tackle for fishing as well. Also good price on kerosene by the gallon.

Great gas station and grocery with nice people. Beats driving to town if you only need a few things. They also have ethanol-free gasoline.

Outrageous diesel price! The price in West Jefferson today is $4.45 and D&R is charging $5.89 /gallon! Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until I had already filled up. I like supporting small local businesses, but you can’t charge 30% more for the same product. I feel like I was gouged.

Danny is a good store owner. He has always remembered my name and if there's anything you want him to keep in stock just ask him and most likely he will additionally he has always pumped my moms gas even though it's not a full service station "if there even is such a thing anymore"he does for her free of charge all in all convenient and friendly
