West Pine has always been a great place for or family member! We never feel rushed or have questions go unanswered by staff. Dana at the front desk has been a staple for years always friendly and on top of medication refills or appointment requests. Linda, Vet Tech has a passion for her patients. Only suggestion is they are so busy the practice building could be doubled to accommodate more patients. As our community has grown in population so has the need for a larger space. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Love the veterinarian we used for our boxer. Appointment didn't feel rushed and she provided all options for treatment. However, the receptionist at the front desk, Dana could definitely use a refresher on politeness and how to speak to costumers.

We take all of our animals there. They’re always amazing. You never feel judged if your animal gets into something they shouldn’t (looking at you our rescue beagle). We will continue to be customers and send all our friends and family there!

Had a good new patient visit for my dog Copper. He was so nervous but they got him in quickly and updated all his medications. They even give a complimentary vet exam for the first visit. Linda, the vet tech was especially kind to him and helped him adjust to a new environment he was super nervous in. Really grateful for her help. Thank you!!!

I've been going to West Pine for twenty years. I love Dr. Lea. One day my senior dog was sick and needed to be seen. They refused to see her. I need a Vet when my dogs are sick. i changed to another Vet and office. I'M glad I did.

I called today to get answers regarding my daughter’s puppy that was in last night and deceased this morning. My daughter was distraught and asked me to call (she is 20, the puppy was the runt, and not thriving). I was told I was unauthorized. My daughter authorized me. All the while receiving less than acceptable customer service and zero compassion (knowing the puppy was deceased). The attending vet called and left a message of sympathy knowing we asked for an explanation. Return calls were unanswered by the vet and met with the same rudeness. The office manager called, and I explained the situation, legalities of it. By law there was no way the dog should have been released or not referred to another hospital/facility capable of providing the necessary treatment. The office manager raised her voice. I asked her not to. She told me “I don’t have to take this abuse.” I told her it was not abuse. I was not yelling. I was telling her what the law states, what was not done, and that I wanted answers, and if she were unable to provide answers professionally due to lack of coping mechanisms or educational skills she needed to transfer me. She laughed at me and hung up. My daughter and I received a VM from the owner stating her case past end of business with no way to contact her back. The extreme lack of professionalism, let alone compassion, combined with gross negligence is not going to be documented here alone. They can reply to this. And they can reply to the Attorney General where it will be a matter of investigation and permanent record. They will also have to compare their notes to the post mortem private notes I have to the NC Veterinary Board when they do their investigation. I hope others see this and not only go elsewhere, but I hope the owners and management see it and learn from this. This is unacceptable, and will not be tolerated. You don’t accuse reasonable people asking for answers of abuse. You provide them with an honest answer. You don’t leave insensitive voicemails, you speak with clients about your the patient- the especially the one you are responsible for killing.

West Pine animal hospital was great with my baby Java.. I took her for her puppy exam and first shots... Well number one reason was she had a spot come up on the bottom of her foot, that was a growth that wasn't suppose be there..While we were waiting and Java was barking and just acting a fool in my arms... Everyone that worked there, stopped to say hello to her.. They were very kind.. She was just barking bc she was so nerves... After the initial puppy exam.. Java had realized that West Pine Animal Hospital was a great place to meet new friends.. I notice that she was not enjoying all the love that she was receiving.. I will be taking her back for her booster and so on.. Thanks West Pine Animal Hospital for the best positive outcome..!!! NAPTIME

West Pine Animal Hospital can't be beat. They are caring and attentive to each family. If there is an emergency, they always do their very best to work you into their schedule, despite being a popular and busy clinic. I feel fortunate that I learned about them. I always feel that we are in the best hands possible and that my fur babies are loved and cared for each and every time we visit.

They are great! I posted this a year ago, my experience over the past year has just reinforced my first impression of this Veterinarian office. They are totally awesome. I can't say enough good about this practice.

The appointment process was straight forward and easy. Everyone I spoke to was kind and professionals the vet tech and the vet both spoke to me with kindness and understanding, while also making my kitten feel as comfortable as possible. They gave her a churu and played with her during the visit, which was very nice. I’ve been to other vets in the area who make the visit feel very transactional, and this was far from that! I even got a follow up text the next morning encouraging me to call if there are any problems. Plus they have preventative care programs where you can pay monthly to have certain services covered!
