This past October, I took a brand new sports coat that needed the sleeves to be slightly shortened. Larry measured it and I was to pick it up two days before we left the country for our anniversary. I went in on the afternoon it was scheduled to be ready and was told it wouldn't be ready till the next day. When I came back I was told that the buttons were real buttons with holes and that he didn't know. He said he had to take the sleave length up from the shoulder and it was a lot more work. Also it would cost more. We were leaving the next day and packing so I had no time to dispute this so I paid and left.The jacket was unwearable and ruined. He had do e the sleave alterations without measuring my arms and had removed and take in so much material that my arms were constricted like wearing a child's shirt and I couldn't even move. I never received a phone call in advance of the changes. I have what was a beautiful new sports coat that I cannot wear and is ruined and I am out what he charged and the cost of the coat. There should have been significantly more attention to detail and MUCH better communication when he discovered his mistake. If he couldn't do it correctly, I would rather he had called and told me.

Poor service! Jeans were to be hemmed in one week. (Paid when I dropped them off) Went back after a week and they weren't ready. Allowed another 8 days and they still weren't hemmed. He didn't even call and let us know they hadn't been touched. They've now been picked up to take to someone else.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Larry, my stepdaughter has a school dance Friday and the dress we ordered was to big and she didn’t like the other two back up dresses we got for her. I called him in a panic to see if he could help me out and without missing a beat he said get her here now and we will see what we can do. I’m sure he has seen it before but, to us he is an absolute life saver, thank you Larry…customers for life!!!

I am prior service United States Army. I brought my new pinks and greens to Larry. After I had taken them somewhere else, and they were not correct I spoke with Larry personally, and he was able to make them correct again. Larry was also closed on Monday, but took the time out of his day off in order to have my uniform ready for me to attend graduation of a person I know. I looked at the uniform, and it was correct to a T. Larry is great. He is a nice man he will work with you. His prices are great and you can’t go wrong with this man Larry, you are a lifesaver and I would like to. Thank you.

What can I say about Larry's? I came in me prior service. Needing my uniform to be re-corrected due to taking to the wrong Taylor. Lo and behold I came into Larry's off of Google search read his reviews. His reviews were awesome. No complaints from really anybody so I took the trip from Clayton and brought it to Larry. I met Larry in person. Larry is a great guy. He understood exactly what I wanted and what was needed on the uniform. We even shared the pictures of the military the way it has it for my army uniform. And let me tell you Larry said how fast do you need it and I said by Monday. Larry stated well I'm closed Monday but I'll work with you. I think I can get it done. Monday rolled around and he had it ready. It looks perfect. It came out to everything I expected. Larry's understanding his prices are right he has just everything you would want and somebody that is a tailor. I wanna thank you Larry you did an awesome job and I will keep giving my business to you. Thank you Sgt Trejo US Army.

Larry is such a nice man! I was in the midst of searching for somewhere local to do minor alterations on a sequined dress and 2 piece outfit. I walked in and he was able to help and have them both done in a few days. We had trouble fixing the top on my dress because the material was so heavy and the top closing. When I tried it on after he altered the dress it still was a bit off. Larry took time to explain several ways he could fix it. He had it for a few more days and when I came back it was perfect!! He didn't even charge me for the second alteration he did to fix the top because the first one didnt work. He absolutely wants to make sure your happy with the finished product. If you live in and around Zebulon, Wendell, Wendell Falls and need your clothes altered stop here.

I have a need for 1-2 tailored suits and shirts, but the very best tailoring I've found in the area...and I live in Wendell...is Larry's Tailor shop...his taste in suits +shirts+ties is nothing but EXCELLENT. With the passage of time my girth has expanded, but Larry has saved some beautiful suits that needed "adjustments" --in a words...EXCELLENT! New suits fit like a glove and his ability to put accessories together cannot be equaled anywhere!
