I have loved this delightful store since it opened! Great finds and bargains. The staff is friendly and organization makes it a pleasure to step inside. One word of caution, if you see something you like, don't wait to buy it because it probably won't be there next time.

A great consignment spot with a wide variety of nice things, from housewares to clothing. I’ve shopped here a few times but only recently consigned with them during their “open consign” (no appointment required for open consign). It was an easy process and they were very efficient with the large load I brought. Looking forward to the next time I get to pop in.

I have been shopping this gem of a consignment store for years and LOVE it! Never go in that I don’t find some treasure I cannot live without. I’ve bought clothes, shoes, purses, coats, pottery, Christmas etc. staff are always friendly and prices are good and reflective of the quality goods they carry.

When you first walk in it is very welcoming. The store is organized so well it helps make things easy to find. I love the variety of things they sell and the prices are very reasonable. I go at least once a month.

This store is a delight to shop in. Their employees are so sweet and the owner Rachel is a jewel. Love shopping there and even to just go in and visit with these sweet ladies. You never know what kind of treasure you will find.

A good friend purchased a bathing suit recently and tried to return it after trying it on as it did not fit. She was refused a refund or store credit for the return. Terrible policy regarding returns or refunds which was not posted anywhere. She also was charged to use her debit card which was not posted. No customer service and bad attitude toward a return and refund.

Love consigning and shopping here. Everyone is so pleasant. It’s so much fun to browse around and see so many unique items. I try to stop by weekly to see what “new” item catches my eye.

This is a wonderful, locally owned consignment shop that carries clothing in good condition, shoes, handbags, household items and furniture. It is clean and well organized. There is a great selection and it's always fun to see what's new!

Such a beautiful shop and the staff are outstanding. I spent over an hour and a half looking through the selection and I purchased a pair of pants but I was so surprised and I didn’t say anything when it came over $11 and the pants were $8.99I thought maybe it was the tax in North Carolina but I looked at my receipt today and they charged me $1.50 for using my debit card. I wish I would’ve been advised of this prior to the sale as I would’ve paid cash. There was no sign posted anywhere stating that they charged $1.50 for a debit card transaction and I was not notified verbally. I have a big big problem with this and it is a shame because this store is incredible.

I've been coming here for quite a while. They have a great selection of items and it's usually a very interesting shopping experience because you always find something to buy. However, now they have started charging a $1.50 per debit card transaction. Debit cards are legally considered same as cash. When I politely asked why they've started charging the older woman with short brown hair, quite rudely said" because the banks are charging us and now we are charging you." That doesn't really seem like the kind of thing you would want to say to a customer who is giving you money. There's better ways to say things and that wasn't one of them. Banks charging businesses for credit or debit card transactions are a cost of doing business and they should not be something that is passed along as a burden to the customer. It's very unfortunate since I love the store, but as long as this practice is in place I shall not be returning.

Love, Love, Love this cute little shop!! Been here a half dozen times, and always walk out with a wonderful purchase. Full length coat for $7, work shirt for $6, and countless home decor items!! Always changing inventory and reasonably priced. Also, the staff is sooo friendly :)

This place seemed like an ok shop, however while shopping here most recently I overheard a few employees discussing how disgusting members of the LGBTQ community are. Some of the remarks made were just awful. This made me very uncomfortable so I left immediately. I don’t know how that behavior is tolerated but it is absolutely NOT ok. I strongly urge anyone reading to go support small businesses that actually respect people and their decisions.

I live in Charlottesville, VA and have a sister who lives in Hendersonville. She couldn’t say enough nice things about this Consignment Shop. I was visiting recently and what a gem. Great selection of “found treasures” and great prices. Owner was so personable. Can’t wait until the next time I am visiting.

Rachel, the owner is one of the nicest people to be found. She has worked hard to make the Cottage Door a pleasant, friendly place to shop and fill it with quality consigned clothing, jewelry, shoes, handbags, linens, rugs, housewares, decorative items, furnishings…the list goes on. One if my absolute favorite places to shop and consign. The staff is helpful and friendly and do their best to help every customer even when the place is packed. There’s always wonderful surprises to be found in this wonderful, well curated shop.
